When you’ve already heard it all
What do you expect me to write
When you’ve already read it all
What do you expect me to tell you
When I’ve already told you everything
What do you expect me to do
When I’ve already done all I could
The poem “Lost” first appeared on Lifesfinewhine. “Lost” is a poem about what it feels like to hit rock bottom. Sometimes you reach a point where it just feels as if you have done all you can. And there is absolutely nothing else left you can do. As someone who suffers from depression sometimes I experience these feelings when times get tough. However, it is important to remember in these moments that nothing is set in stone. Change is constant. What feels like rock bottom today may not tomorrow. Things may improve over time.
