Die Welt- A Poem

Die Bäume

Die Blumen

Der Wind

Sie hören alles

Sie hören unsere Traurigkeit

Unser Flüstern

Und wenn du zuhörst

Sie erzählen Ihnen eine Million Geschichten

Über die Welt

English Translation:

The World

The trees
The flowers
The wind
They hear everything
They hear our sadness
Our whispers
And if you listen
They tell you a million stories
About the world

“Die Welt” is the first time I’ve ever written a poem in German so I apologise if there are any mistakes. As you may or may not know depending on how long you have been following this blog, I have been learning German for a while now. I had wanted to learn it for a long time but did not get the chance since I was still in high school. Now that I have some time before university I decided to go for it and learn German. And I am happy to say that I have learnt enough that I can make small sentences. I hope you enjoy “Die Welt” and let me know if you did in the comments below.
