“Goodbye” is a poem that first appeared on Lifesfinewhine. I think about endings and beginnings a lot. And this poem is about the end of a longterm relationship. And the emotions that come along with this ending. Relationships are difficult and complicated as it is. And I am not someone who is very good at long-term relationships. I tend to shut down when things get serious and find it difficult to stay excited about the relationship once it gets older. Those feelings are what inspired this poem.
