“Lieblingsmensch” is a poem I wrote recently in German and my collaborator was kind enough to translate the poem to Spanish. As you guys know I am still new to learning German. But I am really enjoying it and I love creating content in German. Writing poems like “Lieblingsmensch” help me practice more. And I think it’s a great way to actually explore and learn the language.

Sorry for any mistakes in the German version but I’m still learning and not fully fluent yet!

Ah! Thanks for this! Always good to have a German refresher in the morning. Made me realize I still have a good grasp of grammar, but not vocab.

I have a grandson who speaks fluent Deutsch, his speaks a bit too, me, forgotten most, but my little poem is based on fact.
