Exams Are Here

Can you believe it’s that time of the semester again?? Time really does fly! Yes, exams are here. Wow, I hate saying the words “exams are here” lol.

I’ve really enjoyed most of my subjects this semester and I’m definitely going to tell you more about what courses I took and what I thought about them in the future when I get some more time.

in the future

I’m pretty scared about them and honestly I’m just hopping to pass at this point. Like I don’t know how well I’ll do to be honest. Just passing is enough for me.

Exams can be nerve wrecking and I want to get them over with. For someone with anxiety especially. Something about exams just gives me so much anxiety. Even though I generally do well.

get it over with gif exams

My first one is on the 10th and my last one is on 20th so I have exactly ten anxiety filled days where I’m going to be sweating a lot and probably breathing weird.

In case I don’t post as regularly during those 10 days I hope you guys understand why!

thanks for understanding gif

Wish me luck and let me know in the comments what helps you calm down during exams! I need all the advice I can get if I’m being honest. Or simply stop by and say hi!

  14. What calms me down during exams is having something planned right after. It could be a day out with a friend, or starting a tv/book series that I’ve been holding off on starting until after exams. If I have several in a row, then usually the plans I have are enough to tide me over. “Two exams left!! One exam left!! I AM FREEE!! XDD”

    1. Hahaha yeah I do that too and it actually does help!

  15. I think I mentioned it before but maybe just write everything you absolutely NEED to know on ONE piece of paper per exam. Distilling it down to one piece burns it in the brain. It did for me, anyhow. Good luck… I’d be curious to hear what areas of history you are interested in… but later… for now… STUDY! 🙂

    1. Yeah I usually do that and it is definitely very helpful!
I am interested in WWII history as well as Native American history and I guess I love everything to do with history in general but those two are what I’m mainly interested in at the moment.

      1. It’s fun to imagine different historical periods… I gravitate to different ones at different times. 🙂

Btw, there’s another study trick which you might already know. If you have to remember a list of things, take the first letter of each item and make a sentence out of them that’s meaningful to you, or at least which you can easily remember.

So let’s say it’s DNA and you have to remember cytosine [C], guanine [G], adenine [A] and thymine [T].
I’d make a sentence like Charlie Goes Around Town. I can remember that, so then have the first letters which prompts me to remember the right items.

My Mom taught me that one. She called it making a “memory hook.”

        1. That sounds like an interesting trick. I haven’t tried it before but I’ll definitely try it out! Thanks so much for sharing it!

          1. Yeah it worked in India when I had to memorize countless “mind levels” in Sanskrit for final exams.. 🙂

  16. I started mine on Monday, welcome on board, let’s sail.

    1. Let’s get through them!

  17. I’m in the same boat, good luck!🤞🏼

  20. I hope your exams went well!! Mine started yesterday and I’m freaking out. Exams really are one of the worst things on the planet, aren’t they? Of course they help you judge how much you know, but whatever.
