Six Word Story #21

Six Word Story

Six Word Story:

A million thoughts per second- insomnia.

About This Six Word Story:

As I keep mentioning, I am really loving six word stories. They are quite a bit of fun to create.

I am sure my longterm blog followers already know this but for those that don’t, I do occasionally suffer from insomnia. Insomnia is a condition where one has trouble falling asleep and/or staying asleep. It can be caused by a number of reasons. For me personally, the reason for my insomnia is generally my anxiety disorder. It causes me to be a chronic over thinker and even when I’m supposed to be falling asleep I can’t do that since my brain refuses to switch off.

For those of you that think too much like me, sleep does not always come easy. If fact, it seems like sometimes my brain does most of its best thinking when I’m supposed to be sleeping. And that can be frustrating. And not just frustrating but it also lead to a lack of sleep. Which is super annoying.

Do you suffer from insomnia? Have you ever experienced insomnia? If you are someone who has experienced insomnia, what are some of the ways or methods you use to combat it? Or are you someone who is able to fall asleep and stay asleep very easily? Are you a chronic over thinker like me? Do let me know your thoughts in the comments section located below the post. Or simply stop by and say hi in the comments!

              1. That is so true. Many times, we think it’s just us who has experienced a thing. Then when we share, then discover we are not alone. Their is a sense of relief knowing someone else can relate. Thanks for sharing Pooja!
