Why Your Blog Isn’t Taking Off
There are multiple reasons why your blog might not be taking off however a lot of them are easily solvable! This is probably why your blog isn’t taking off and the fix:
Marketing- blogging is often about marketing. You need to make people want to read your blog and to just once you need to make them want to follow your blog and keep coming back. A good way to make sure people keep coming back is to be responsive in the comments and genuinely interact with followers.
Small blogging problems– there are a lot of small problems that are easily solvable that may be why your blog isn’t taking off. Check out these posts to see if you have any of these problems and how to solve them.
Advertising– if you want your blog to really take off you need to advertise yourself. There are certain ways to do this. Firstly, you can do some actual advertising through Google, Bing or bigger blogs that have guest posts/shoutouts. Another way to advertise yourself is to be active on other peoples blogs. Let me make it clear by that I do not mean spamming other blogs with “check out my blog” comments. I mean leave genuine comments about their content, like their posts, share the ones you particularly enjoy and remember to make some new friends!
Be genuine– if your writing is genuine and you are passionate about what you’re blogging about your readers will appreciate it and keep coming back.
