Happy Valentines Day everyone!! I’m generally not someone who celebrates Valentines Day. I don’t hate it as I know some do. I know some people truly loathe the day. But I don’t hate it. I think it’s nice to celebrate the person or people you love although I think that should be done daily anyway. It’s just that I’m personally not a big Valentines Day person. I find it uncomfortable to receive gifts as it is not something I am used to. Or have grown up with. So to me, it’s not really all that special. And I don’t care to celebrate too much.
Another thing is that I don’t really date. And I don’t do longterm relationships much. I’m just not the kind of person that enjoy relationships. At least not at the moment. Right now, I prefer my own company. So I don’t usually have a reason to celebrate the day.
However, I do try to spend the day treating myself. Like I’ll buy myself something I’ve wanted for a while. And I’ll make myself a nice dinner of a dish I love. And that’s about it for the day for me. Anyway, happy Valentines Day everyone! Have a wonderful one no matter what you decide to do (or not do lol).
