So I was talking to someone today and she reminded me that the Coldest Night Walk is today and I just wanted to remind everyone that if they’re in the Niagara area they should check it out it’s a really good cause.
About The Coldest Night Walk:
The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. Join us on February 25, 2023 – team up, fundraise, walk, and gather for good… because it’s cold out there. We’re walking to make sure people experiencing homelessness in West Niagara have a HOME and support. Together, we’re making a difference.
If you or someone you know that is in the area would be interested in learning more about the walk and how to get involved in it you can learn more from their site: https://cnoy.org/location/westniagara
Personally, I really think this walk is for a great cause. Homelessness has become more and more prevalent and is a serious issue that society is currently facing. It’s up to us to look out for those less fortunate than we are and I hope this reminds people to support the less fortunate.
