Inspiring Bloggers Tag

Inspiring Bloggers Tag

I want to thank Trix Muriel for nominating me for this tag and for creating the Inspiring Bloggers Tag! It’s such a great way to spread some positivity in the WordPress community. Be sure to check out their blog and the original tag post by clicking here.

So here are the rules for the Inspiring Bloggers Tag:

  • Thank the person who chose you.
  • Include the logo in your post.
  • Answer the questions asked to you.
  • Choose the bloggers who’ve inspired you (maximum 10.)
  • Add a feature of their blog which you admire.
  • Ask them five questions.

Questions:

What made you take up blogging?

I wanted to find a place where I could write and express myself and a friend suggested blogging.

What would you choose : Go back to the past or Jump to the future?

I’m a history major so I’m going to have to say the past.

How many languages can you speak ? List them.

English, Gujarati, Swahili, and I’m currently learning German. I can understand simple Hindi but not write or speak it so I’m not going to add it to the list.

Your travel pet peeves?

When people don’t respect your space and are kind of all up in your face- especially on the airplane.

Name three of your favourite authors.

Jane Austen

Enid Blyton

Natasha Anders

I’d like to choose:

Erin- This tag is perfect for Erin because I find her blog to be so inspiring. Even with all the craziness going on at the moment and all the negativity she still tries really hard to remain positive and spread positive energy to the WordPress community and I find that to be incredibly amazing and inspiring. She also has a really awesome Instragram that you can check out.

Jirah- I really enjoy her blog and always find her posts interesting. She has such a positive energy and I particularly enjoyed her Blog Party post where she encouraged everyone to share their blogs and get to know one another. She is definitely a very inspiring blogger. You can also check her out on Instragram, Pinterest and Twitter.

Tiani- I love Tiani’s blog so much- you know I can never resist a blog that talks about mental health. She writes about mental health, lifestyle and so much more. She also does interviews every week that discuss mothers and mental health- she interviews a mother who talks about their mental health. I find this segment to be particularly inspiring because a lot of people tend to suffer from mental health problems during pregnancy or after they have children and it’s so important to make sure that they know they are not alone and that things will get better. She also has a YouTube channel, Instagram page, Twitter page, and Pinterest that you can check out.

Elle– I only discovered her blog recently but I think it’s absolutely wonderful. I think she tells it like it is and doesn’t hold back which I- as a repressed perfectionist- find very inspiring. You can also check out her content on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Nath– I really love her blog and think she has some super interesting and inspiring posts on there. She writes lifestyle, personal, TV review posts and so much more. I like how upbeat her blog is and she has some pretty great advice on there.

Zainab– I really enjoy Zainab’s blog so much. She has a multi-niche blog where she writes about her views, experiences, life and more. I like that her blog is such a positive space. You can also check out her Instagram page.

Shweta Suresh- I’ve been a fan of Shweta’s blog for a very long time now. I’ve been following it from way back when I first started blogging and I have been enjoying it ever since. I love her short stories that usually have an inspiring twist to them. You can also check out her Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Tumblr.

Nomison Ndegwa- He has such an inspiring blog and he’s a fellow Kenyan blogger which is always exciting! He has a multi-niche blog with lifestyle, awards and inspirational posts. The majority of his posts are inspirational posts and that’s why  I thought he would be the perfect candidate for this tag.

Xandria- She is such an inspiring blogger I had to add her to the list. She has an amazing multiple-niche blog and a particularly inspiring post of her was the 10 Favourite Feelings Tag which she created to help spread some positivity and remind us of more positive feelings. I was so happy to be part of the tag and I think it was definitely a success. You can also check out her Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.

Everyone reading this post- I think everyone’s blog is inspiring in it’s own way and I would love for anyone who is reading this post to consider doing this tag and if you don’t want to make an entire post out of it feel free to leave the answers to the questions below in the comments section.

  18. HI POOJA ,
I WOULD LOVE TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS
Do you prefer blogging or social media?
I’m not there on any social media. I use only whatsapp. So, I prefer blogging more.
What is your favourite post that you’ve published so far?
In the Gust And Starry Night. You can check them out here :
    In the Gust

    Starry Night : https://allaboutblogdotlife.wordpress.com/2020/06/01/starry-night/
What is one thing you are grateful for?
During this time of pandemic , I have atleast a roof and food to eat whilst there are migrant workers and guest workers who are struggling to make their ends meet.
What inspires you to continue blogging?
Reading othe blogs make me feel better. And I’m a novice to blogging , so if someone likes my blog that makes my day. And most of my views are from India, but now am seeing an increasing in the number of views from The U.S. too … so I feel better and there’s hope that some are reading my blog.
What is one thing you love about yourself?
I don’t take things to my head, and I recover soon from any kind of trauma or problems.
Hope you have a great day ! ☺😁

    1. Yay so glad you answered the questions and thank you again for the nomination!! I prefer blogging to social media as well. I do use social media but not much anymore. Have a great day too!

  19. I completely agree with you on wanting to travel back to the past! I’d love to revisit historical events (as well as maybe rewrite how I handled certain events in my own life).
Also, would you ever consider writing a post with tips or resources for how you’ve learned so many languages? That truly is an incredible achievement. Know you are a history major, but if you ever desire to enter the business world, I can only imagine how many companies would want to hire you with your language skills!!

    1. Yes travelling back would be really interesting and I would change a lot of my teenage years lol!
I actually just learnt them because I’m Indo-Kenyan and we spoke them at home so I really don’t have a lot of tips haha. I’ve thought about going into international relations because of that but I’m not too sure.

  20. Thank you so much! You’ve said the kindest things about me. I’m flattered <3 Definitely going to be posting my tag soon! x

    1. You’re totally welcome- I didn’t say anything that wasn’t true!

      1. You always make my day hehe x

  21. […] is such an uplifting tag and I’m so glad to be apart of it. Make sure to go check out her version of this tag and her other awesome blog […]

  22. Congratulations.

    1. Thank you!
