I have been a fan of this blog for a while and therefore super excited to share this interview with you guys! Be sure to check out the blog- as always it will be linked below.
1. Thanks so much for being a part of this interview. Tell us a little bit about yourself and what your blog is about.
Well, I’m 17 years old and I’m a first year college student. I’ve lived all over the world, but I’m currently in India. My blog is sort of a cocktail of every single niche out there; it’s kind of hard to describe! I simply talk about whatever is on my mind at the moment. I write about music, movies, cooking, poetry, psychology- you name it! My blog, quite simply put, is the confessions of a random blogger.
2. When did you start your blog and what inspired you to start a blog?
I started my blog in June 2020, right in the middle of the COVID-19 lockdown. I was going through a lot mentally, and I really just needed a creative outlet. I needed a place where I could say whatever I wanted without feeling like I was burdening the people around me. I started noticing that a couple of my friends had their own blogs where they published niche content every now and then. I’ve also always loved writing- many of my blogs have been drafts sitting in my notes app for years that I didn’t know what to do with. So, I decided to start my own blog!
3. What are some of your long term blogging goals?
I would be lying if I didn’t say the typical goals that almost every blogger has- views, likes, followers! For now, my long term blogging goals are just to be consistent. Maintaining a blog while trying to manage university can be extremely difficult. However, if I’m dreaming bigger, I would love to be featured in larger forms of media such as magazines and newspapers. Maybe even write my own book someday?
4. What inspires your posts/inspires you to write?
Almost everything around me inspires me to write. From movies, to music, to conversations with friends. For example, the other day I was watching a movie about the supermodel Gia Carangi, which inspired me so greatly to the point that I wrote an entire article about it. Inspiration is everywhere. You just have to find it.

Although my blog does sort of cover every niche out there, I would say that my favourite topics to talk about are movies, music and psychological analysis.
Blogging has completely transformed me as a person. Before I started writing and posting regularly, I always felt this sense of incompleteness. It was sort of like I knew exactly what I was supposed to be doing but I didn’t know how. Blogging has also helped my anxiety both due to the pandemic and otherwise. As many of my fellow bloggers will testify to, blogging is hard work! It takes a huge amount of time and effort to consistently post. Therefore, it has really helped me to have an outlet to pile my extra energy and time into. There’s also a sense of belonging that comes with blogging- the community is always so welcoming and supportive!
Tough question! I know it doesn’t necessarily count as a food, but coffee! Coffee in an IV please!
This is an answer I always have prepared! So I was born in Peru, but I only lived there for a year, which I obviously don’t remember. So if I could travel anywhere after the pandemic, it would definitely be Peru! I’d like to be able to answer the question I keep getting asked- “What is it like there?”
My second answer would absolutely have to be Paris. If you know me personally, you know that I cannot get through a conversation without mentioning France or The Eiffel Tower at least once.
Ah this could be an entire blog post! I’m one of those people that’s easily irritated by almost everything. However, since this is a blogging interview, I’ll talk about blogging pet peeves. I absolutely HATE those spam comments that are either trying to sell some sort of useless product or are literally just promoting their own blogs. I mean…what sort of answer do they expect? “Thank you so much- I’ll take two?”
