1. Thanks so much for being a part of this interview. Tell us a little bit about yourself and what your blog is about.

Hi there!!! My name is Wayne and I love to blog about my travel experiences and events happening in my life at the moment. I am from Northern Ireland and have been living in Australia for 4 years now.

2. When did you start your blog and what made you decide to start blogging?

The move to Australia made my decision to start blogging. I wanted to share my experiences and showcase places that I had visited. I started blogging as soon as I arrived Down Under. I had always wanted to try blogging and this was the perfect timing for me.

3. What inspired you to take such a big step and move to Australia?

I had previously been to Australia on a one year working holiday visa. That was in 2009. I fell in love with the country, the people, the weather and the chilled out lifestyle. Therefore, I made it my mission to return 1 day.

4. What do you love about travelling?

I love seeing new places with my own eyes, taking photos, meeting new people and learning new things about different places. I love seeing new cultures and appreciating their way of life, especially the food. For me, it’s about learning every day and opening your mind, your way of thinking.

5. What are 5 things you could never travel without?

First of all my camera! Then my phone (I like to to be connected 🤣), swimming shorts, sun screen and lastly good company. I prefer to travel with others, mostly my partner 

6. What advice would you give to people looking to become travel bloggers or that are just starting out as a travel blogger?

Just give it a go if travel is something you love to write about and share your experiences. You don’t have to have a big following on social media. Also, you don’t have to travel to far and wide places. You can travel local and people will still be interested. Just do what suits you.

7. What is your favourite food?

Italian cuisine. I love pasta!

8. Have you had any crazy travel experiences?

I once planned a trip around the world. I was planning to travel for 1 year around the globe. I had bought my ticket, left my 2 roles of employment, had the most epic farewell parties, said goodbye to my loved ones and off I went. 6 days later I returned home . As fate would have it, I began a relationship with my partner 3 months before leaving for my trip. Being away was extremely difficult and I didn’t want us to be apart. It was the best decision to return home and 14 years later we are still together 🥰. We have since had many, many travels together.

9. If you could have any superpower what would it be?

I would love to be able to teleport. I could go anywhere at any time and visit loved ones
