Neob Lavender Experience/Review

Neob Lavender Farm Boutique Niagara On The Lake

As you guys know I absolutely love travelling but unfortunately I haven’t been able to do a lot of it recently with the pandemic and a lot of places being closed for safety. Now that things have been slowly opening up in Canada, my sister and I are able to have a few more travelling adventures. They do tend to be local spots but it’s still nice to go somewhere new and have some new experiences there.

About a week or so ago we decided to check out Neob Lavender which is a lavender farm. They also grow other flowers. It’s such a beautiful area and we really wanted to get some fresh air so we thought this would be perfect. The flowers weren’t in full bloom since it had been a while since they bloomed and at this point they were ready to be harvested but it was still a lot of fun.

The farm itself was so lovely, they had a cute little store and it was honestly just nice to be out in the open. Plus, we were pretty much the only ones there except like three other people who were in a completely different area so that was cool too. It was like being a VIP lol!

Here are some pictures of me with the lavender plants:

Here I am with the sunflowers:

This is me telepathically trying to communicate to the sunflowers:

And of course me fainting dramatically because it was hot af that day:

On our way back we decided to stop at the world’s smallest chapel which happened to be close by. It was really great and I can’t believe it can fit like six people inside because it was really very small.

Overall, it was a fantastic day despite the weather being super hot. I genuinely thought my sister was going to have some kind of heatstroke lol. We were both okay though. If you’re ever in the area I would recommend checking both places out. They’re worth going to and so inexpensive. The lavender farm only charges two dollars for entry which can be used as a coupon at their store and the chapel is completely free. They both in lovely, open areas where you can be surrounded by nature which to me is the best way to spend the day.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post- I love sharing my experiences with you guys and it’s great that I can do that again. Have you guys been to any of these places or anywhere similar? Let me know in the comments below because I love hearing from you or simply stop by and say hi- I don’t bite! (My dentist said I can no longer bite people due to my sensitive teeth)

  1. Lovely. Did the flowers talk back 😉

    1. Sorry, half funny, half serious. I have read that plants can respond positively to being talked to.

      1. I read that too- apparently if you yell at a tree enough it’ll fall down and die 😲

        1. Spruce bud worms can be more effective 😉

          1. But screaming at trees sounds way more fun 😂

  15. I love lavender. At first I didn’t like it since my hometown didn’t have them. However I gradually ease into it and now it is my favorite fragrance for soap and hand wash. It has a distinct herb flavor to it.

    1. How interesting I always assumed lavender grew in most places. Yes it definitely has a distinct and lovely scent.

  16. Love your photos too, especially the one with lavender bushes. I guess the flowers (including the sunflowers) are all passing their flowery stage, but still it’s a beautiful sight.

    1. Thanks- yeah they are ready to be harvested according to the people who worked there but they were still lovely.

  17. Envy you!!…standing in a lavender farm…that’s been on my bucket list for quite a while….still remains there sadly!

  18. looks like it was a nice place to be out in nature; love the small church – I wonder how many other churches around the world claim that distinction! 🙂

    1. It was definitely very nice. Apparently this is like the “official” smallest chapel in the world but I’m sure there are quite a few similar places in other places too.

      1. it’s nice to be the official one!

  19. Yay… you got your lavender fix 👏👏👏

    1. I sure did- it was wonderful!
