Marina- A Poem Inspired By Bridgerton

Your smile so elegant

And yet so sad

In your eyes

I see the real pain you hide

The girl destined for nothing but the best

Broken by only the worst

First your innocence

And then your love

Taken from you forever

So you settled

For what the world gave you

You settled for nothingness

Inspired by the first season of Bridgerton. Can you guess which character it’s about? Hint: The title may help point you in the right direction 😜
