Quote Of The Day

A quote from one of my favourite authors and someone I believe is one of the best writers of the 20th century! I read On The Road as a teenager and have been obsessed with his work ever since. Are you a fan of Jack Kerouac? If so, what’s your favourite book by him? Let me know in the comments!

    As trite as it may seem, my favorite Kerouac book is “On The Road”, though I’m quite fond of his “Book Of Haikus”.

    I heard that a lot of people love his books, and I wish I can appreciate him as much as others. I guess it is probably because I read him too late and my taste had already set in its ways before I reached him. LOL.

      I think his work is best to read as a teenager or young adult. That’s when I started to read his books and I think that made me enjoy them even more.

    I’m ashamed to admit that I’ve never read Jack Kerouac, especially since I consider myself an “avid reader.” I’ll definitely have to pick one of his titles up! 😏
