I love reading and all things books. I love reviewing the books I’ve been reading as well as books I had to read for my courses at university. I’m a history major so some of the books are history based but many of them are also fiction/novels and I also really enjoy reviewing books written by fellow bloggers.

I have been reading since I was a child. It’s something I did to be able to live in different worlds without actually interacting with anyone else. I was pretty introverted as a child and books were my best friends. And my parents are both avid readers. So of course, they read to me daily when when I was too young to read myself. And when I was able to read myself they encouraged me to read as much as I could. I was always reading something when I was younger.

And I could not be more grateful for that. Books have become something I can rely on no matter what. When I am feeling down, I read to escape my reality. When I am happy I read to celebrate.

If are visiting Lifesfinewhine, you can expect to see a number of posts on this blog about this topic. They may be book reviews, book tags, just random book posts and more.

Some of my favourite books are Pride and Prejudice and Emma by Jane Austen. I also love Othello by William Shakespeare. Another favourite is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë. Some more recently written favourites I enjoy are On The Road by Jack Kerouac and A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini.
