I am a huge foodie. I absolutely love all things food. But I mean, most people do lol. Food has always been a big part of my life. It’s something we need to be alive, to nourish our bodies and to function properly. It is such a vital part of our existence. And yet it feels like sometimes we do not give it as much importance as it deserves.
I have not always been a foodie. In fact, I was the opposite. I only saw food as calories. Something that would make me bigger. I forgot how to enjoy my meals, how to appreciate gastronomy. Not being able to enjoy my meals made me hate myself. And it destroyed my relationship with my body as well as with food.
Now, I can proudly say I have very much evolved from that. I am once more able to appreciate the art of gastronomy. I am able to enjoy my meals and see them as something to bring me happiness instead of something that will make me bigger.
To celebrate this evolution of my relationship with foods, I like to share a lot of food related posts on this blog. I love sharing new dishes I have made and enjoyed. I also often share recipes of dishes I love. Another type of food related posts I share are “What I Eat In A Day” posts. In these posts, I share my meals for the day and my thoughts about these meals.
All the dishes shared on this site are plant based or vegan. Hope you enjoy the foodie posts!
