My thoughts on the Jonny Ox Quote:
“Don’t let the tamed ones tell you how to live” is such a powerful quote by Jonny Ox. As soon as I read it, I knew I wanted to share it as my quote of the week this week. As humans, we are very much taught and wired to be a certain way. To behave a certain way. It’s all about societal norms and if anyone dares to defy them there is a ridiculous amount of backlash. Especially these days with the internet making things much more of a big deal than it needs to be.
However, the truth is that we’re all unique. And those of us that dare to break away from norms are simply strong enough to be our authentic selves. Those that don’t have this ability are often the first ones to point and judge anyone that is different from the norm. And those are exactly the people we need to tune out.
