As a lot of you know I decided to take a gap year before going to university and so I decided to share some of the things you can do during your gap year to make it more fun:
Travel- You can finally see all the places you’ve always wanted to see during your gap year. You can choose to travel to different countries and stay there for a while or you can decide to explore your own country and go on a fun road trip. You can also finally do things like sky diving, bungee jumping or maybe just relax by the beach.
Read- You can finally read all the classic books everyone is always talking so highly about that you pretend to have read anyway. You can cross out all the books you had on your book bucket list!
Relax- Think about it when was the last time you relaxed? Like really relaxed without having literally anything to do? Well this can be a couple of months of relaxing like that!
Listen- Listen to music. Listen to the sounds outside your windows. Listen to the people around you. Most importantly listen to yourself. Think about what you really want. Listen.
Create- Create a blog. Start a YouTube channel. Start a tumblr page. Start a Pinterest page. Just do something creative and fun with your time!
Write- Write anything you want! Write some poetry, lyrics, a story or just anything that’s been on your mind because you will never have this much free time ever again.
Have fun- Do some stuff you’ve always wanted to do that you never had time for before like learning something new like an instrument or a new language! This is the perfect time to do this!
Research- You have an advantage over people who have already gone off to university- you have time. Make sure you do lots of research on what university you want to go to so you go to something that’s perfect for you! Plus you have time to think about what classes you want to take too!
