As you guys may or may not know depending on how long you have been following this blog, I have been trying to learn German recently. It hasn’t been very easy but it has been lots of fun. One thing I have enjoyed in the process is watching animated childrens shows in German and reading comic strips in German. My favourite is a comic strip called ” Nichtlustig.” That means “not funny” in English. Despite its name, it is in fact, quite funny. As I know many of you don’t speak German, I tried to find some in English. I really wanted to share them with you guys and hope you enjoy them.

You did an excellent job of picking toons that are funny even if you don’t understand German. I remember my grandfather trying to teach me the Lord’s prayer in German. I got as far as the first four lines, but I can only remember a few words. I’m impressed!
