It Finally Happened! (Podcast)

It finally happened guys! After months of talking about starting a podcast I finally started one. The first episode is officially up and you guys can check it out by clicking the link below.

On Anchor: https://anchor.fm/pooja-gudka

On Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/2KXCGN54YbgU56m6rhRUUR

I’m going to try to get it on more platforms so it’s more accessible to you guys but it may take a while so this is it for now. Oh, and the sound isn’t super loud so you guys may have to increase your volume a bit. Oops lol.

I really appreciate your support and would love it if you guys checked out the first episode. It’s more of an introduction than anything else but more topics will be coming soon- many of which were generously suggested by you guys.

This is my first time sharing a link to a podcast so I don’t know if this will work- WP has a track record of screwing me over so in case the link doesn’t work please let me know in the comments below so I can fix it as soon as possible. If it does work, feel free to let me know your thoughts about it in the comments below I would really appreciate that!

  1. I think anchor also gives other formats. I hope you are keeping the blog. I’m more a reader. Did catch podcast. Practice will make you more comfortable with elicution. Good for public speaking and will reduce ummm and likes when speaking. Good luck and congratulations on your first podcast!

    1. Yup definitely keeping the blog- IG and podcasting is definitely more of a side thing. Thanks- I’m not great at public speaking yet but hoping to improve!

      1. Pod casting will definitely help. I find myself thinking about my talking more and trying to slow down and be more clear in pronouncing….which is important with public speaking. Transferable skills for sure.

        1. I’ve been working on speaking more slowly too because I tend to talk very fast and that can make it hard for people to understand me.

          1. Podcasting will help. I find myself thinking about it at least during recording. Over time it may generalize to daily life. At least that is my philosophy. If nothing else, gives me stuff to challenge myself. Always working on being better than I was yesterday….better than trying to be better than anyone. Makes me hapier 🙂

  2. Just listened to the podcast… you did good… you BOTH did good… and am sure will get better with time… congratulations…
    🇯🇲🏖️

  3. You have a soothing voice and you’re very eloquent. It was nice to hear you speak because you are a very engaging narrator. It was a lovely episode! 😃

  4. Ayee I was waiting congratulations and your podcast is already in my Spotify playlist. You have a beautiful voice I must say. I’m so looking forward to more episodes from you. To be very honest I do not listen to podcasts but you are an exception because of the quality of posts you bring to WordPress. I am super excited. All the best Pooja may god bless you with abundance of success in your new venture. All rounder is a word I can use to describe you.🤩🥰 💟💖💕💫

  5. Congratulations on your new podcast! I listened to it and it sounds fun. I think it’s really nice that you are going to get through this new adventure with your sister. I heard you guys saying that you have different schdules so you won’t always be co-hosting together, but still… It’s going to be interesting! I’ll be waiting for the next episode! x

    1. Hi Riana!I just came across your comment. Just wanted to say that I recently started a podcast as well. I would appreciate if you wanted to have a listen and tell me what you think about it 😉 thank you

    1. Thanks girl! It’s honestly been wayyy too long 😥😥 Hopefully I don’t sound like that irl I hate the way my voice sounds in recordings 😂

          1. Yeah, it’ll be so nice to talk and even meet 💕 also nothing will ever stop you from talking 😂 you talk alot, atleast with me (and that’s a compliment) 😂

  6. Congratulations🎉🎉🎉 Pooja and oh i too have always wanted to start a podcast so exactly what kind of equipment or gear is needed to start one

  7. I am super excited to listen as I love podcasts….will surely listen and drop the feedback. Good vibes for this new start 🌟🤞💫

  8. Just gave it a listen! Congratulations on taking your content to a new platform! I did so by starting a YouTube channel for writers a few months ago, and while it’s a lot of work to manage two different mediums (blogging and video) it’s been rewarding. Here’s to more episodes from you and your sister!

  9. Congratulations Pooja! 🎉🥳👏🏽 starting a podcast is a dream of mine too! BRB it’s time for me to check it out! 🏃🏻‍♀️

  10. Well done Pooja. I am not a person who has listened to podcasts (yours is about the first). I have enjoyed your podcast and am now following you on Spotify.

  11. Oh damn, that’s a huge first step, much congrats! I was listening to a few minutes of it on Spotify there, and the audio is actually quite good, so now worries there👍🏼
Really excited to see what content you have planned with it!

  12. You are wonderful. LOL. “Insanely supportive”. That’s so true. I feel that WP community is more attuned to my style than people I know in real life. My friends just dismiss me as doing something trivial. LOL.

    1. Thanks- I feel the same way about WP. It’s crazy how we can relate so much with strangers and have so much in common with them.

  13. Just listened your introductory podcast. Looking forward for more as you said your blogging journey. Your sisters voice had background noise and the voice was no so clear and loud. Yours was quite clear. Sorry for the mention but I REALLY want to listen to you guys. ❤️

  14. Just last week I kinda imagined how you might sound. Seems like I was absolutely right… It’s was good to hear your voice finally. Keep it up…

  15. Bravo! Congrats to you! I launched mine in September of last year so I’m aware of how much it I takes to get it off the ground! 🥂🙌🏾🎉

  16. I also started a podcast a couple months ago. They’re pretty fun to have, especially when you’re trying to incorporate other perspectives. I’m sure you’ll enjoy them.

  17. Oh my gosh Pooja that’s amazing congrats! If you need advice, actually just interviewed a podcast host on my blog where she shared loads of useful tips!

  18. Congratulations, Pooja! Stay the course. Don’t be too discouraged. Make certain you are having fun, and be genuine.
