The woman I love
Loves me not
For when we were together
All we did was fought
She was the kindest lover
And saw me as I truly am
I thought she was my forever
But I treated her like she was nothing
Now I mourn her loss
And regret every single time we fought
For now
She loves me not
What can I say about “She Loves Me Not?” The truth is, I have no idea where it even came from. I just remember reading the line “she loves me not” and was inspired to write this poem. My life has always revolved around my imagination and therefore my writing also borrows heavily from my imagination. When I read those words, my imagination just started putting words together and created a story.
This week has been interesting. It’s had its ups and downs. Tomorrow I’m meeting a cousin of mine that I didn’t really know existed until the wedding. She lives in a different city and apparently we went to school together?? I recognised her face because I had seen her around school but didn’t realise how closely we were related. My sister and I are getting drinks with her and hopefully we’ll get to know each other a little more. She seems lovely. And she’s a fashion designer which is right up my alley since I love fashion. So hopefully we’ll have some stuff to talk about and it won’t be awkward.
