The woman I love
Loves me not
For when we were together
All we did was fought
She was the kindest lover
And saw me as I truly am
I thought she was my forever
But I treated her like she was nothing
Now I mourn her loss
And regret every single time we fought
For now
She loves me not
What can I say about “She Loves Me Not?” The truth is, I have no idea where it even came from. I just remember reading the line “she loves me not” and was inspired to write this poem. My life has always revolved around my imagination and therefore my writing also borrows heavily from my imagination. When I read those words, my imagination just started putting words together and created a story.
This week has been interesting. It’s had its ups and downs. Tomorrow I’m meeting a cousin of mine that I didn’t really know existed until the wedding. She lives in a different city and apparently we went to school together?? I recognised her face because I had seen her around school but didn’t realise how closely we were related. My sister and I are getting drinks with her and hopefully we’ll get to know each other a little more. She seems lovely. And she’s a fashion designer which is right up my alley since I love fashion. So hopefully we’ll have some stuff to talk about and it won’t be awkward.

This sounds like many marriages.
Yes, unfortunately marriage can bring out a bad side of people sometimes.

Pretty sad!
Yeah, my brain just went there!

Meeting unknown cousins, this is pretty much same for me… Good luck on your visit 🙂
Thank you so much! Yes, we all have family members like that. It was quite fun.
Good to hear that!
This poem is sad, but the truth is, things like this really happen everyday, everywhere. It is a pretty poem that speaks the truth. Excellent!
Yes, absolutely. A lot of people experience these situations. Thank you.
You’re welcome.
lots to learn in this moving poem Pooja❣️
Thank you so much! 💖
of course Pooja! ❤️
Interesting poem 🔆
How come you don’t know about your cousin?
Must be a cousin with far relation.
Enjoy your meet.
Also say my Hi to your sister (the known one) 🙂
Thank you so much! She’s a close cousin but unfortunately she lives in a different city and wasn’t around much before.
But how come you don’t know she existed? 😂
She lives in a different city and our families aren’t that close. Even though we went to the same high school we didn’t know we were related lol 😂
Wah!!
You should thank your cousin for the wedding then! Something good out of it 😁
Lol true, one good thing came out of it 😂
😁
The ethereal flow of creativity doesn’t flow through everyone unless they are open to their own artistry. We are tiny conduits paying attention to the reverberation of the universe at large.
I completely agree. You have to be open to it and let it in.
she loved her longtime mate
but to her he only returned misery and hate.
Aw so sad.
such is life sometimes
Yes, unfortunately so.
Loved the line She loves me not.
Thank you so much.

I say Murder is the answer, but that’s just me. BTW I love this poem 🤣😎🙃
Lol, murder seems the rational route to take 😂
Simple solutions are best 🤣🙃😎
And this one seems to solve everything 😂
Maybe there’ll be some Lifesfinewhine apparel in the future thanks to this cousin, haha
Lol, I hope so that would be awesome.
Love it 🤍
Great poem
Thanks so much.
Great poem! It’s fun to have an idea about something you want to create and go with the flow.
Thanks and yeah a lot of fun.
I remember all the women I have loved. And they have a lot of influences on me. I wish I have explored more opportunities to meet and to admire women, but our life sometimes is filled with mundane daily task that we don’t have the time left…
So true. We are so preoccupied by mundane tasks that we can rarely do what we want to and what we love.
Imagination is so important. The minute I read the line “she loves me not” I new it was familiar. Turns out it is a phrase used when playing with a flower. You pick off petals in turn stating he or she loves me, then on the next petal loves me not, until you finish with the phrase which describes whether the person you are thinking about actually likes you … Never actually played it so may have to try. Thanks for the interesting post as always 🙂
I used to play it as a teenager, pretty inaccurate but fun game lol. Thanks.
Very welcome, and it was a shame it didn’t work for you. I am sure there are some frustratingly lucky people out there lol
Lol yes of course.
I love the poem and how great is it to meet family. Well in this case, you are officially meeting her. Hope it goes beautifully.
Thanks! Yes, it was so wonderful.
I’ve been catching up with your posts, and really enjoyed this poem! ❤️
Thanks so much, really happy to hear that! 😊
Nice poem. Pretty wild finding out you had a cousin you didn’t know about.
Thanks and yeah it was weird since we went to school together.
