The Travel Savvy Wanderer – Your Travel Blog!
Hello, I’m Deanna! Four months ago, I decided to officially launch my travel blog – The Travel Savvy Wanderer.
Traveling has always had a special place in my heart and life and creating a blog was a way for me to share my joy for traveling with other travelers (creating the blog and writing those posts were not something easy at first!). Now, initially, I thought of creating a space that would bring together a group of travelers with similar, or dissimilar tastes. The desire to create a social space that would help people with travel tips, advice, suggestions, and so on was my main agenda.
Budget-Friendly Tips
I thought of budget-friendly oriented tips, because, let’s face it, a post-COVID world meant one where budget tips are most welcome!
Female Solo Traveling
But as someone who has been traveling both solo and along with family and friends, I soon realized that an emphasis on female solo traveling would surely help women from different parts of the world. Current global travel trends are witnessing a dominant shift towards solo traveling and for some women, solo travel still represents a hesitation or a fear of the unknown. So, I started devoting my posts to equipping solo female travelers with travel advice that will help them plan their trips.
Mental Health
But, The Travel Savvy Wanderer is not a travel blog that publishes posts on budget-friendly tips and solo traveling only, there are so many other blogs on these concerns (of course, written from different perspectives and experiences).
Something that you will notice is recurrent in our travel blog is the emphasis on mental health. Be it in the guise of coolcationing, silent travel, or nature tourism, many people are nowadays opting for travel choices that will cater to their wellbeing. Mental health is an issue that is unfortunately often disregarded and even the tourism industry needs to highlight this essential topic to ensure the enjoyment of traveling.
Conclusion
The posts from our website are, therefore, geared towards equipping travelers, assisting them, in planning and in becoming more aware of places they are visiting. And, beyond this quest, equipping travelers with tips to ensure that their well-being is prioritized whenever they plan to or are traveling.
So, we are gradually growing and creating our travel community. You can visit our website, read our Blog Posts, and help us create this travel community!
