Blogger Interview With Sharon

Blogger Interview With Rita

Recently, I invited bloggers onto my podcast and have been interviewing some wonderful people. Today, I wanted to share my Blogger Interview with Sharon, who goes by Selma P. Verde for her books. She is a fascinating person with experience in writing and self-publishing which I found interesting since I’ll be self-publishing my first book soon and it’s cool to hear from someone who has already been through all that.

She has two sites, one of them focuses on her writing and her books. The second website is all about helping teens navigate their life. It helps those struggling with addiction, homelessness, peer pressure and more.

We had a wonderful chat. We talked about writing, our favourite times to write, being a teen, how parents can better connect with their teens, drug use and addition among teens, life, our pet peeves and so much more. I really hope you guys enjoy the interview and also take a minute to check out her sites. Her site about helping teens also has tons of resources for parents and teens.

  1. She is a nice person doing great things for others, wonderful! ❤️ I love your smile, Pooja. 😊

    1. Absolutely, she’s wonderful. Thanks so much- I always hate how Zoom mirrors the image so you end up looking lopsided 😅

  2. This is great Sharon and Pooja Good stuff 🤣😎🙃

    1. Thanks so much! 😊

  3. Wow. What a most uplifting interview Pudja. I like this kind of interviews.
That her Author penname is like my name made me smile. Yay to all Selma’s.
And Sharon and I share two more commonalities: we have two adult sons and we both love Nancy Drew.
That Sharon has the whole collection of ND books makes me kinda jealous. I never owned those books. Always library burrowed. I don’t know how many comprise a series… as far as I recall, all but 4 or 5 books existed at MY library. So yeah, I’m jealous.
I was happy with the questions you asked. And Sharon’s response at choosing age 30—when coming out of college and setting goals and direction for the life you want to have— is the best response. It’s a great age to want to return to.

Also loved her telling of what a perfect day looks like. It sure sounds perfect to me.

Thanks for the interview. And all the best to you with publishing your book this year. Sending blessings. And if anyone can do this well it’s you. Go with my blessing.

    1. Thanks so much. Oh yeah, her pen name is the same as your name which is so cool. She’s a wonderful person and hope you go over to her sites.
