About This Poem:

This image really stood out to me and I loved the pretty colours in the sky so I went with the poem my brain cooked up. I generally don’t post very uplifting content or poetry if I’m being honest. My writing can be a bit of a downer. I’m sure my usual readers will vouch for that lol. But this image felt so uplifting. Like a fresh start. So, that’s where I took it with the poem.
I’ve also just been seeing so many signs in my life that I am ready for a change, I am ready to let go of everything and everyone holding me back. I’m an ambitious and hardworking person, I think it’s time for me to focus on myself instead of letting others pull me down with their misery. And that change in attitude also played a big role with this week’s poem.
I will be switching off my comments for this post because I’m feeling a little exhausted and overwhelmed with life today. However, I really hope you enjoyed this poem and have a great rest of your weekend.
