By the time you read this, it will already be March in Kenya. Depending on your timezone you’re either still in February or are in March too. I’m not going to lie, I’m happy for February to end and March to begin. February was a tough month for me- emotionally, physically and mentally.
Still, in a weird way I feel like I grew more in February than I have ever done in my entire life. I finally learnt how to set real boundaries, say no, take back my power and connect with the universe. Things I have been attempting to do for years. I think the best lessons hurt the most and that was the case last month. There were some extremely painful moments but they helped me step up and start on the right path towards being the person I actually want to be instead of being stuck as the person I had become.
I am thankful for the many, many, MANY painful life lessons that have already come my way this year with only one sixth of it down. Seriously, it feels like these many are probably enough for now. Perhaps even enough for this year… Lessons learned, stop please…

Oh and I mentioned I was dealing with a viral infection and still am so my apologies if I’m a little M.I.A.
Anyway, wishing everyone a wonderful month of March. May the ups be plenty and the downs be at a minimum.
Edit:
I just Googled what March Madness is because I’ve heard it here and there but never bothered to find out what it is. But since I titled this post March Madness I thought I should find out. It’s definitely not what I expected lol.
I recently published my first book and would be honoured if you took a minute to check it out here.
