The other day, I had a very special Zoom meeting with Cindy Georgakas from The Unique Times. I am sure many of you are familiar with her fabulous blog and fabulous self. Cindy and I talk often, daily I would say. She’s not a blogging friend, she’s a friend. A great one at that. She’s been so helpful, encouraging, and supportive throughout my writing journey and I’ve learnt a lot from her.
She was coincidentally one of the first people to receive a physical copy of my recently published debut novel, Perfect. So we decided to hop on a Zoom call and she decided to surprise me with an unboxing of the extra copies she had ordered to give to friends and family! We decided to record and share a part of it. This was my first time seeing the physical version of the book in person/on video:
She also shared her review of the book on her blog some time ago which I was so grateful for and absolutely loved. As an indie author, I am truly so grateful to everyone that takes the time to read and review the book because it’s not easy to come by and I don’t have the budget to pay people to do it like traditional publishers do. But that’s not the point, the point is that Cindy is absolutely awesome and I am so grateful to call her a friend. Thank you, Cindy, for a very special Zoom meeting!
My first novel, Perfect, is now available on Amazon. If you would like to read it, please click here.
