I have something very exciting to share today! I was recently a guest on The Heart Of The Matter podcast which is run by our very own Wynne Leon and Dr. Vicki Atkinson. Both are WordPress bloggers and I’ve known them through blogging for quite a while now. I’ve also watched other episodes of the podcast and think it’s so cool how they go out of their way to support other writers.
It’s also always so much fun to finally chat in person too and they were both so easy to talk to which I really appreciated as someone that is introverted.
I reached out to them about potentially being on the podcast when my debut novel, Perfect, first came out. They were kind enough to get back to me and soon we were setting a time and date.
In the podcast, we discuss lots of things about the book including the transition from poetry to a thriller, how the title came about, where the characters stemmed from, what inspired the book and more. We even got to have a little chat about probably my favourite character to write in the book- Fiona!
