A Review And Mention For Perfect

Perfect by P. J. Gudka Review

I am so excited to share that Lauren Scott from Baydreamer Writes recently shared her review for my recently released novel, Perfect. I’m truly grateful and honoured every single time someone does that especially when it’s such a positive review as hers was. Do check out her post below because she shared reviews for two other books that I would recommend checking out as well:

Jan Sikes also mentioned the book on her post recently which I am super grateful for:

I’ve also gotten reviews on both Amazon and Goodreads from other WordPress writers like Selma Martin, Dr. Vicki Atkinson, Wynne Leon, and more. Thank you to all of you that took the time to do that, it means a lot. As I’ve mentioned before, getting reviews as an indie author isn’t easy. I don’t have the kind of marketing contacts, budget, or knowledge that traditionally published authors have. So every read and review makes a huge difference.

It’s these sort of moments that make me realise how important the community we’ve built on WordPress is. People are so kind, supportive, and encouraging. I rarely use social media these days because it’s just not the same. Once you’ve been on WordPress, the rest of the platforms feel so dull in comparison.

Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that I am so grateful for each and every one of you. So many people’s dreams have come true because of this platform including my own.

If you would like to get yourself a copy of my debut novel, Perfect, you can do so by clicking here.

Pooja, I just finished reading Perfect and honestly, it was Perfect. You did such a great job keeping me hooked while giving the story real heart and emotion. The twists and characters stayed with me even after I finished. Truly a memorable thriller. Great work, P.J…

    1. Thank you so much, that truly means a lot to me. Your book is already on my TBR list too but trying to finish the other books I’ve already started first. But seriously, thank you again. If you have a minute, I would really appreciate a review on Amazon too. But only if you can, no pressure.

  17. Authors do need to support one another. I am always so happy to reach out to a fellow novelist. Nothing is perfect, of course, but as we write more and more and receive the benefits and all we enjoy. I love writing, and find it a wonderful outlet.

    1. Ah, well maybe your “Perfect” was an interesting choice of title and a good debut with a challenging topic.

      1. Thanks so much.

    2. I agree, it’s so important to support one another as writers. Glad you love writing too, definitely a wonderful outlet for many of us.

      1. Yes, my novel “Quest for Absence” takes place in the Catskills. Setting in NY is a big part of my novel. Working on my third for the trilogy now. Challenging.

        1. Oh I see, that’s very cool. I think the setting is a huge part of any book and can make or break it. How far along are you with the third book?

          1. Well, I am more than halfway through but it is very rough draft. Very rough. I need to do lots of work, but I try to write 1,000-2,000 words a day.

            1. Oh wow, you’ll be done with the first draft in no time.

              1. I am afraid of that as next is editing, yeech!

                1. Oof yeah, editing is often even more difficult than the writing!

                  1. That is correct!!

              2. Right now, I am writing 1000 words and sometimes take a break of a day.

                1. I usually do the same but take a couple of days in between.
