Life Has Been Busy…

If you’re wondering why I have been absent from WordPress over the last few days it’s because I have the tendency to shut down and disappear when things get rough. Is it healthy? Perhaps, who knows. Honestly, life got busy and overwhelming and I decided not to post unless I felt like it because I didn’t want to associate those negative feelings with blogging. But I’m doing better now and I am hoping that the rest of the year will have less life lessons to offer me.

One of the nice things that have happened recently that sort of evened out the awful stuff is that I was able to hang out with a friend of mine. We’ve known each other a few months but have such deep discussions about life, death, and everything in between that it feels as though we’ve known one another for lifetimes. Between her being sick and then me getting sick, we hadn’t had time to hang out but I was able to spend most of yesterday with her which helped lift my mood.

While in one of our discussions we realised that not everyone thinks visually i.e. not everyone can see images in their head. Some people only think their thoughts in an auditory way. My friend is an auditory thinker while I do both auditory and visual. And yes, it’s exhausting in my brain all the time lol. But I want to ask you, what type of thinker are you?

My first novel, Perfect, is now on sale on Amazon. If you would like to read it, please click here.

  1. Here’s to hoping that the rest of the year brings you what you are looking for! Even though, personally — I would say that to step away and ‘chill’ every once in a while is a good thing. It allows you to even up your perceptions!

  2. All the best. Be kind to yourself.
