The children come
Running down the stairs
Laughing and shouting
Excited to open their presents
The parents sit and watch on
Contently sipping from their mugs
The children all got what they wanted
They had been very good this year
And today
They can eat as much sugar as they like
They can have cookies
Candy canes
Chocolates
And they can sit with their parents
And watch Christmas movies
Until the evening
When they have dinner with
All their relatives that they love
Today they can be unconditionally happy
Because today
Is Christmas
Wishing Everyone A Very Merry Christmas!
So I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and I hope your day will be amazing and filled with happiness! Have a very merry Christmas! I don’t really have any plans for Christmas but I still enjoy the day. We usually watch some Christmas movies as a family. Most of the time we watch Home Alone or Home Alone 2 because they are such classic Christmas movies. And such a sweet ending with both of them. But sometimes we venture out and watch other Christmas themed movies too. It’s quite fun.
Other than that, we don’t do much for the holidays and generally just take the time to relax. It’s a nice time to spend with loved ones and I think at the end of the day that’s what this season is about.
