Oscar Wilde Quote:
About This Oscar Wilde Quote:
I wanted to share this Oscar Wilde quote today because it’s one that really resonated with me. For most of my life, I think I’ve been pretty pessimistic. I would call it realistic but I don’t know if the people in my life would necessarily agree with that. I think they would call me a pessimist. And I think because of having a more pessimistic attitude towards life, I tend to forget that it’s not all doom and gloom.
Sure, times get tough sometimes. I think we all experiences ups and downs in life. But as this quote reminds us, when it rains we should stop focusing on the rain and try to look for rainbows instead. And when it’s dark we should look for stars. Instead of always focusing on the negatives, this is the reminder I need (and I’m sure quite a few of us need) to focus on more positive things even when we’re going through something in our lives. And even when things don’t go our way.
