Blogger Interview With Saumya

I want to thank Saumya for being part of this interview- she is wonderful and so is her blog so definitely do take a minute to check it out. As always her blog will be linked below.

1. Thanks so much for being a part of this interview. Tell us a little bit about yourself and what your blog is about.

Hey there! My name is Saumya and I’m a teenager from India. I’m currently in 8th Standard. I love to draw, write, dance and listen to music. I also do lettering and calligraphy. I am a proud GryffinClaw and my patronus is a Dolphin. Writing and reading is something I’ve been doing from a long time. My blog is mainly a lifestyle blog. I write poems and songs, make art, currently I’ve been working on the Blogger Interview Series that I started

To know more about me and my blog, you can check out my About Page. (https://drawwriteinspire.wordpress.com/about/

2. When did you start your blog and what made you decide to start blogging?
I started my blog in around end of January this year. I used to write many stuff and send it to my friends and I also made my mum and dad read them. They used to appreciate my works and it was one of my friends who suggested me to post my write-ups and artworks somewhere publicly and that is why is started my blog.

3. I noticed that you write about a number of topics on your blog- do you have a favourite?
Well, I enjoy doing all types of post because different kinds of post attract various types of people. But my most favourite kind of post are the poems and songs that I write. It is because they are always something very personal and they also make me reach out other people who have gone through the same situations.

4. What are some of your long term blogging goals?
I have been focussing on my blog very much from the past 1 month and it’s going pretty good. I haven’t really thought about it but maybe 5K followers. I’m only on 100 followers but a girl can dream right?

5. How has blogging impacted your life?
Blogging has impacted my life in a good way. It has made my personality better and has obviously taught me time management. When we need to do something we like, we automatically find time to do it. And blogging has taught me that I can manage doing my studies and all my hobies together.

6. What is one thing you love about blogging and one thing you hate about it?
There are a lot of things I like about blogging. But the most important one is the audience that I reach out. WordPress is an amazing community and it has shown me such a nice support so I think that is the best thing about having a blog here. Everyone was so encouraging and I made so many new friends here! I don’t think there is anything so far that I don’t like about blogging, it’s pretty fun.

7. What is your favourite food?
I’m a very moody person when it comes to food. If there are 10 things in the world to eat then I only eat 3 out of them. Trust me, I eat a lot but I’m not a foodie. I don’t like trying new dishes until and unless it’s something chocolate. I think my favourite food has to be Corn and Cheese Pizza.

8. Do you have any pet peeves?
Yes, actually I have a lot of pet peeves but I’m just gonna state one or two. I hate it when people judge me because of my gender. Yes I know we’re living in 21st century but still there still seems to be some kind of inequality. Like when I play badminton with my friends, just because I’m a girl, they think I won’t be able to play like them so they don’t wanna team up with me. So yes, I find it extremely annoying when someone does a kind of thing like that.

9. Do you have any weird phobias?
Oh, I’m probably the most coward in the world. I’m scared of almost everything! Insects, dogs, reptiles, cats, birds, firecrackers, trust me, everything!! Even there are some people around me, who I meet and talk to everyday but I’m still afraid of them.

10. Thanks again and please feel free to add anything you would like to share with the readers.
Thank-you so much to everyone who has read my blog so far and shown me support. Thank-you Pooja for having me here. All the questions were so much fun.

  1. “blogging has impacted my life in a good way. It has made my personality better.” That’s so true. I think my online personality is better than my offline one. I didn’t have much confidence in my own popularity in real life–being an introvert and everything. Once I start to talk, I talk too much, which is annoying. However I want to be popular, kind, gentle, and loved online. LOL.

    1. Lol I feel the same way- my online personality is definitely better than my real life personality. I’m sure you’ll be very popular in no time 😄

  2. Great work Pooja! i nominated you for the outstanding original blogger award. Also, i replied to your questions for the blog interveiw
