Quote Of The Day #64

Quote Of The Day

I already mentioned this on my last post but just in case you missed it, I wanted to remind everyone that I am doing some experiments with my posting times. I want to start posting a little earlier than I usually do. So this week my posts may just pop up a little earlier than usual and at random times. I’m so sorry for any inconvenience!

I also wanted to give you guys an update on my hand situation. My fingers are doing better now. Although they are still somewhat swollen, they are still better than before. The swellings are slowly but surely getting less and the pain is reducing too. It’s nice to be able to do things with my right hands again but at the same time I think I am going to keep doing certain things with my left hand like eating. It’s been fun being left handed for a few weeks and I want to try to become ambidextrous. I think it is a skill that may come in handy in the future. I don’t want to lose the progress I’ve made with my left hand.

Also, have you guys noticed how I’ve been writing some life stuff with all my quotes posts? I thought that doing this might be a little more interesting for you guys than a quote on its own. It also gives me a chance to talk to everyone and give you a little update on what’s happening with me. It’s also a great chance to whine lol.

Are you guys enjoying the quotes posts more when I add some stuff about my life at the bottom? Did you enjoy this weeks quote? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. Quote of the day is more like quote of the night, haha .
Usually, I sleep by the time. But, I don’t know what I’m doing online.
I get notification. So I had to come to WP to read this. I mean, offcourse, how can I miss your blog .
I’m really glad to know that your hand is doing well. Yes, ambidextrous is a good thing. I tried several times to write with left hand, but it needs regular practice, I guess.
    .
Also, it’s good that you are talking about yourself. I feel like it connect readers more with the writer.
I will also try to include more stuff about myself.
    .
By the a great quote to read at night.
    Keep sharing and keep shining

    1. I should now get a sleep, as I don’t want to get dark circles 😛.
      More power to you Pooja.

      1. Good night!

    2. Haha it’s night for me too 😂

Go to sleep, you can check my post later, I don’t want to be ruining your sleep schedule!

Thanks and that’s why I like having a little talking bit at the end so I can connect with everyone and catch up with their life too.

Have a lovely night and sleep well!

      1. Actually I usually put down before before 9 pm and then. Sleep at 10. I don’t know what I was doing yesterday. Then, I saw a notification about your new blog. I thought, it must be a glitch, I mean you post at 3 am. But, then I remembered that you said about time change. Now that I’ve tapped that notification. I had to read it. I really think that ending the day with some positivity is a good thing. I got jubilant after reading your blog. 😃

        1. Thanks and I’m glad you were able to read the post 😊

  2. Love this quote from Helen Keller. Such an inspiring woman.
I’m happy your pain is fading! Sending positive vibes 🙂

    1. She was an amazing woman for sure.

      Thanks so much! 🙂

      1. You’re most welcome! 🙂

  3. Definitely your posts are improved when you add your personal comments. That way creates a relationship with your readers. I read more about Helen Keller recently and I think this quote and post would benefit if you added why you chose it and why Helen Keller had an inspiring life.

    1. Thanks so much. I think that’s a great idea, I’ll start adding a little more background information about the quote with each quote post. Thank you for the suggestion.

      1. Thanks for asking for feedback.♥

        1. Happy to 😊

  5. Happy to hear that your fingers are feeling better. I like the quotes as well, just adds a little something to your posts. Inspiring quotes are always needed. I don’t have a set time for my posts as of yet, I might try that at some point and see how that works.

    1. Thank you so much. I feel that way too, inspiring quotes always help motivate us even when we don’t feel so great. I like having a specific time but I felt like I needed to switch some things up.

  6. Glad to hear your hand is doing better! Personally I like it when people add life stuff in with quotes, makes it more real!

    1. Thanks so much and happy to hear that!

  7. Great quote! Glad your hand is getting better. Funny that you mention eating with your left hand, that’s actually a tip I would give to my clients.

  8. Didn’t mean to hit send just. yet… LOL Eating with your nondominate hand will make you eat slower. I think I’ll blog about it.

    1. Lol no worries it happens!

That does make sense because I do eat slower using my left hand and I have been eating less because with my right hand I have a bad habit of just shoving food in my mouth lol. But with my left one I eat slowly and get full with less food.

      1. Exactly 💜🤣🤣

  9. I love that quote. Very true.

    1. Thank you so much.

  10. Lovely! I love whem you add life stuff at with your quotes of the day posts! 😊

    1. Thanks so much, I like adding those little bits! ☺️

  11. Yes! I love the added extras!

  12. Glad your hand is getting better. I find that being ambidextrous is useful when one hand has an issue such as carpel tunnel.

    1. Thanks so much and yes it’s useful as a freelancer too since I type a lot and one hand sometimes gets tired.

  13. This quote is beautiful because it is true.

    1. I think so too.

  14. PLESEEEE- don’t make the mistake of challenging yourself by needing to learn to walk backwards everywhere with or without a mirror!! Just make the safest assumption, that nothing good with come of it. LOL- I do hope that brought you a smile rather than a menacing grin with a lost stare of contemplation. 😉 Oh- Good Grief, Girl… don’t even think it!

‘I have measured out my life with coffee spoons’. ~T.S. Eliot.

    1. Lol, well now I absolutely have to learn to walk backwards 😂

Love that quote although I no longer drink coffee 😢

      1. LOL, well in full disclure, I use tea-spoons myself. 😉

        1. Haha same here ☕️

  15. I love the quote, and becoming ambidextrous would be a cool thing! And yes, I love it when you include personal things. I like reading those.

    1. Also, Pooja, I have a problem. I have ideas for blog posts, but it’s going to take time to put them together, considering I have a lot on my hands right now. Do you have any ideas for daily short posts I can do in the middle of the main posts, like your six word stories, or your quote of the day?

      1. Yeah SWS, quotes, poems and things like that are good since they are much shorter. Some people also do like “Wordless Wednesday” where they post an image with no writing on the post.

        1. Great idea, thank you so much!

          1. You’re very welcome!

    2. Thanks so much, so happy to hear that.

  16. I remember reading this quote in her autobiography.
Also, personal comments do improve the overall posts. They give reader something to read and provides a personal touch.

    1. I really want to read her autobiography. She was really amazing.

Thanks, I really like adding a little more about my life so glad people enjoy reading it.

    1. Thank you so much.

I’m glad that your hand is feeling better. Yes, I enjoy reading about your life happenings along with your quotes. Keep it coming.

    1. Thanks so much. I’m so glad you enjoy reading about that since I love sharing a little more with everyone about my week.

  22. I’m glad your hands are starting to feel better. One of the reasons I took up juggling (more than 50 years ago!) is so that I would become more ambidextrous.
And I like that you are experimenting with your posting times… I’ll be interested to hear if you note any difference…

    1. Thanks so much. Wow that’s so cool. You must be really good at juggling now.

I’ll definitely be writing a post about everything that happened after changing my timings and how my stats were effected.

      1. I had gotten pretty good at juggling, but it’s been a while since I’ve had much time to devote to it. Look forward to the post about your stats!

        1. Yeah I guess it’s something you need to keep practicing.
          Thanks!

          1. and it’s also nice that you can see your progress…

            1. Yeah for sure.

  23. soooo true! 💖

    1. Glad you agree!

  24. […] it came to comments, again there were no major changes on most days. Monday’s QOTD post got about the same amount of comments as the weeks before. Tuesdays post got slightly less […]
