As my title foreshadows, I have no excuses. I have been busy today and so I haven’t really had time to come up with a post. Actually that’s not entirely true. I wrote a poem right after I took a big spoonful of cough syrup. I’m genuinely scared I won’t be able to write well once my cough goes away. Anyway, I wrote a poem but I am saving that for next Wednesday. As most of you that have been following my blog know, Wednesday is poetry day.
I know I said no excuses but I have an excuse. I woke up in the morning and as I was browsing through WordPress I found this book review/post. The review is for a book called The Housemaid. As soon as I read the synopsis I knew I had to read it. So instead of spending my free time creating a post for today, I bought the Kindle version and spent a chunk of my afternoon reading it. And all I can say is OH MY GOD!
Once I started reading the book I just could not put it down. It was even better than I thought it would be. I plan on writing a full review for it soon. If you have not read this book, you need to. Like seriously, don’t even finish reading this post. Just read the book! So yeah, I spent most of my afternoon reading and finished the book.
