I am saddened to announce that my WP issues have still not been fixed. I emailed asking for an update because apparently that’s something I need to do and not something they should be doing anyway. But I haven’t heard back from them yet. Isn’t their customer care just spit in your mouth and kick you in the groin fantastic? Hopefully they will fix this eventually, until then please do let me know if you are getting email notifications for my posts. If you have your notifications switched on and use that method, of course.
I’m still staying optimistic though, even though many things are not going my way right now. It’s odd but I feel much more balanced and at peace, if that makes sense. It’s been really nice to not be stressed.
What else? Oh, I learnt a new bad word recently. As an adult, I thought I knew them all. At least in the five languages I know. But apparently there is always something new out there for us to learn. And sometimes it’s cuss words. I’m not going to be sharing it on this blog but this was fun. Takes me back to my teenage years, lol.

I like the one about dancing, we had a talent show at school last week, it was fun. I danced not on stage yet not sure why people were watching. The principal didn’t look very happy about it… but you know what, there loss is my gain. Life is too short to quit dancing for the sake of teaching middle school. We still have high schools and colleges in town 🙂
Of course, do what you like and if that pisses someone off that’s their problem not yours.

I’m doing well. Had a nice Father’s Day yesterday including a visit from one of our sons and grandson. Biked today in the heat and humidity and think I was close to getting heat exhaustion. Chilled out for the afternoon and feel good now. Another hot one tomorrow; maybe a beach day (first one of the year!).
Now I’m curious what the new cuss word is! 😜

That’s impressive that you can swear in 5 different languages! My late mother loved to swear. She once had a beautiful cockatiel she taught to swear. It was hilarious. If my mother was in a bad mood, all I had to do was say something funny with a curse word and she’d start cracking up – like a little kid.
Swearing is funny to me too lol, your mother sounds like she was a very fun/goodnatured person.

I don’t know Pooja, some people in my community are into that kind of thing. So much so in fact that in some cases, a day without that kind of treatment for them is probably more equivalent to the problems you’re having with WP 🤣 I’m sorry to hear the issues have still not been resolved though. I’m not sure if I get email notifications from you, but I check my Reader everyday anyway and I’m subscribed, so I don’t miss your posts regardless.

I prefer to be “notified” of new posts from the folks I follow rather than emailed because the email subscriptions are so unreliable. The notifications never seem to fail, so I stay in the loop that way. I’m disheartened to hear that you are experiencing so much frustration and lack of customer care from WordPress. I’ve been considering a paid plan; but the more I read about the problems other bloggers are having with their services, the less enthusiastic I become about paying for the platform. “March to the beat of your own drummer.” Just love it and wish that more people live of life of authenticity and self determination. This being said, I just experienced my same old weakness of not being able to say no. I have agreed to do something that I don’t really enjoy. I am such a people pleaser sometimes that it drives me crazy. Then after I pile up my frustration, I would implode or explode. LOL. Old habits die hard.
I really like that quite too. I always try to be my authentic self these days as I spent many years hiding my true self and don’t want to do that anymore. Lol, some habits are tough to change and I get it since I can be a people pleaser too.
