What’s Up With Pooj?

I am saddened to announce that my WP issues have still not been fixed. I emailed asking for an update because apparently that’s something I need to do and not something they should be doing anyway. But I haven’t heard back from them yet. Isn’t their customer care just spit in your mouth and kick you in the groin fantastic? Hopefully they will fix this eventually, until then please do let me know if you are getting email notifications for my posts. If you have your notifications switched on and use that method, of course.

I’m still staying optimistic though, even though many things are not going my way right now. It’s odd but I feel much more balanced and at peace, if that makes sense. It’s been really nice to not be stressed.

What else? Oh, I learnt a new bad word recently. As an adult, I thought I knew them all. At least in the five languages I know. But apparently there is always something new out there for us to learn. And sometimes it’s cuss words. I’m not going to be sharing it on this blog but this was fun. Takes me back to my teenage years, lol.

  1. I like the one about dancing, we had a talent show at school last week, it was fun. I danced not on stage yet not sure why people were watching. The principal didn’t look very happy about it… but you know what, there loss is my gain. Life is too short to quit dancing for the sake of teaching middle school. We still have high schools and colleges in town ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. The Mandy Hale quotes are great; I enjoyed them.

It sounds like you are doing really well managing stress and adversityโ€ฆ high fives! ๐Ÿซธ๐Ÿซท

Iโ€™m doing well. Had a nice Fatherโ€™s Day yesterday including a visit from one of our sons and grandson. Biked today in the heat and humidity and think I was close to getting heat exhaustion. Chilled out for the afternoon and feel good now. Another hot one tomorrow; maybe a beach day (first one of the year!).

Now Iโ€™m curious what the new cuss word is! ๐Ÿ˜œ

    1. Thanks so much.

That sounds like a really great Father’s Day. Glad you had a nice day. A beach day is perfect for hot weather.

Lol, I’ll be keeping the cuss word to myself for now ๐Ÿ˜…

  3. ๐Ÿค” Whenever bloggers on the paid WordPress plans experience technical issues for a lengthy period, they should be given a rebate.

Do keep us updated on your situation, Pooja.

    1. I couldn’t agree more. Especially if that plan claims you have access to chat with happiness engineers but that’s actually not true.
      Thanks and will do.

  4. Hello Pooja! I’m sorry to hear about the ongoing issues with your WP. It’s frustrating when customer care doesn’t meet expectations, but staying optimistic and finding balance amidst challenges is commendable. As for the Mandy Hale quotes, they were truly inspiring, and I hope your week goes well with exciting plans and positive developments. Stay resilient and keep spreading your positivity!

  5. beautiful quotes, Pooja. I especially like the first one…much said in few words.

hope your WP issues get sorted out soon… ๐Ÿคโœจ

  6. Hey there! Stumbled upon your post on the WordPress feed and couldn’t resist saying hello. I’m already hooked and eagerly looking forward to more captivating posts. Can’t seem to find the follow button, haha! Guess I’ll have to bookmark your blog instead. But rest assured, I’ll be keeping an eye out for your updates!

    Thanks – TheDogGod

  7. I get your blog via the WordPress “Reader” so I don’t miss it; I check each morning.
That’s impressive that you can swear in 5 different languages! My late mother loved to swear. She once had a beautiful cockatiel she taught to swear. It was hilarious. If my mother was in a bad mood, all I had to do was say something funny with a curse word and she’d start cracking up – like a little kid.

  8. “Isnโ€™t their customer care just spit in your mouth and kick you in the groin fantastic?”

I don’t know Pooja, some people in my community are into that kind of thing. So much so in fact that in some cases, a day without that kind of treatment for them is probably more equivalent to the problems you’re having with WP ๐Ÿคฃ I’m sorry to hear the issues have still not been resolved though. I’m not sure if I get email notifications from you, but I check my Reader everyday anyway and I’m subscribed, so I don’t miss your posts regardless.

As for me, I do have news but it’s gross and horrendous so I won’t share. Let’s just say my skin has never been kind to me lol. Everything else is in my ramble which is a bit delayed, thanks to said skin.

    1. Lol omg that’s true. Well they would love the WP experience than ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜…

Oh no, sorry about that. Hope you feel better soon.

          1. dig the pgymy well do tell. music . and classic star trek. captain kirk to anon 7 i am a savage. and any sane man is afraid of war. no wars with computers no ai . and no day wo your blog. ha!

        1. I’m Kenyan which is why I know English and Swahili, my mum’s Indian so I got Gujarati and Hindi from her and I’m teaching myself german. Thanks

  9. I liked the quotes. Hopefully WP will get this issue solved thatโ€™s going on. They could at least let you know something instead of just keeping you in the dark. Just stay positive. Things will eventually come together. You know we have your back.

    1. Thanks so much, I hope so too. Yes, they could at least send me updates. Yeah, definitely things will get better eventually.

  10. I love all the quotes, Pooja! I’m sorry to hear that you are still having WP woes. My blog has been fine for the last couple of days after going back to my old theme, however, time will tell.

  11. Hi Pooj (I like calling you โ€˜Poojaโ€™),
Today I rejoined my regular classes for the second semester.
It was quite exciting and a good experience, because the last time I attend any โ€˜offline classโ€™, was in the March.
I take interest in both online and offline life.
Well, I’ll be missing your talks if I go offline completely.
LifesFineWhine is one of my favourite blogs. You’re the best.
Take time to explore your offline life until the Wp team solve your issue.
    * I will share one of the quote to my friend, asking, what she thinks of it.

    1. That’s wonderful. Have fun with your classes. Yes, I’ll miss your posts too if you go offline but I understand. Life gets busy as a student.

  12. The find yourself one, its so true, talking about my own experiences as if your mind just made up like you’re maybe good at one thing and when life won’t go that way you may feel down but then the alternatives option will tell you you’re born to be different than what your mind was telling you ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. I know what you mean and that quote resonated with me too. A lot of times in life, things don’t go our way but that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the road. Sometimes it just means our journey is changing.

  13. Love the quotes but don’t like what WP is doing to your Blog. I still get email notification that you did a new post though I read them in the reader most times..

    1. Thanks and glad you’re still getting the notification. I hope the issue is fixed soon because it doesn’t even seem like that big of an issue.

  14. I like all the quotes, especially the last one.
It’s been a busy week for me with more opportunities for a content writing job than for dance classes.

I hope the WordPress customer care fixes things soon.

    1. Thank you. Busy is good, I’m glad you’re getting content writing opportunities. That’s wonderful. Hopefully you’ll get more dance class opportunities too.

  15. Loved the quotes!

I prefer to be “notified” of new posts from the folks I follow rather than emailed because the email subscriptions are so unreliable. The notifications never seem to fail, so I stay in the loop that way. I’m disheartened to hear that you are experiencing so much frustration and lack of customer care from WordPress. I’ve been considering a paid plan; but the more I read about the problems other bloggers are having with their services, the less enthusiastic I become about paying for the platform. Keep your spirits up! We’re still following you, my beautiful friend! ๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’ซ

    1. Thanks!

I totally get that, the email notifications are definitely not reliable. I wouldn’t recommend a paid plan anymore after seeing just how downhill this platform has gone.

      Really appreciate that! ๐Ÿ˜Š

  16. “March to the beat of your own drummer.” Just love it and wish that more people live of life of authenticity and self determination. This being said, I just experienced my same old weakness of not being able to say no. I have agreed to do something that I don’t really enjoy. I am such a people pleaser sometimes that it drives me crazy. Then after I pile up my frustration, I would implode or explode. LOL. Old habits die hard.

    1. I really like that quite too. I always try to be my authentic self these days as I spent many years hiding my true self and don’t want to do that anymore. Lol, some habits are tough to change and I get it since I can be a people pleaser too.

  17. I loved the quotes. Hang in there. I visited your website recently, and it was working well. No problems finding the SEO posts. At least that’s a positive to give you some encouragement to hang in there a bit.
I liked the one of beauty.

  18. It’s all about phases come and go! But we should just give our best on all situations is the thing what I think! Great post by a Great blogger once again! Too good Pooja๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
