What’s Up With Me?

I hope you enjoyed this weeks blogging memes. I usually share some inspirational quotes on Mondays but wanted to share some blogging memes today. I’ve been seeing them all over and I can’t share them anywhere else because no one else gets it except other bloggers lol. So, hopefully you enjoyed these memes as much as I did. Especially that last one, that was so real lol.

Not much has been up with me because I’ve been sick due to my Vitamin D deficiency. Apparently it’s a bigger deal than I realised and I need to take my meds regularly because a D3 deficiency can lead to a lot of long term health issues. What was happening for me was that my food was not digesting properly and that was making me get really bad acid reflux. And it also made me feel fatigued and depressed. But luckily I realised it was because I had forgotten to take my pill this month and as soon as I took it I started feeling better. I’ve been okay for a few days (fingers crossed) and hopefully I’ll be fine as long as I keep taking the pill on time. I guess you can say that I just needed the D…

I also have another therapy session this week which is something I’m happy about. I’m loving my current therapist.

What I’ve been listening to this week:

  1. It is a funny but realistic memes😄, Pooja

    1. Thank you, so glad you enjoyed them 😬

      1. Yes I do😊🙏🙏

  2. When you mentioned acid reflux, I had remembered seeing an article a day or two ago. Apparently which side you sleep on might also be something. https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/wellness-and-prevention/choosing-the-best-sleep-position Hope it is of use.

    1. Luckily, the acid reflux is gone after taking the D3 supplement but I’ll keep this information in mind. Thanks so much.

  3. Don’t forget to take your D, Pooja! We can get vitamin D from sunshine too. My ex had to take D tabs because being from California, she was used to the constant sunshine. Living in Michigan took that away.

    1. Unfortunately for me even though we get plenty of sun here my issue is that my body doesn’t absorb it properly. So yeah, I really need to remember to take the pill regularly. Thank you!

      1. I see, that’s a bummer. I take lots of medication daily so you aren’t alone!

        1. Yeah, it’s part of adulting what can we do 🤷🏻‍♀️

          1. There are days that I just don’t feel like adulting. 🫣

            1. I think most adults feel that way 🥹

              1. What a bummer! 🫣😭

                1. Adulting is a scam lol 😅😫

                  1. We’ve ben ripped off, Pooja! 😂

                    1. I know, I wish there was an unsubscribe button 😜

  4. Vitamin D is necessary if you aren’t getting enough sun. If you are a strict vegetarian you need to constantly check your B12 levels too.

    1. Yeah, I get full blood tests done once a year to make sure everything is okay. Everything else was fine, this was the only issue.

  5. The first meme is pretty funny! Glad to know you are feeling better.

    1. Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the memes!

  6. Loved the memes! Thank you I needed a laugh. Sorry to hear about your vitamin D deficiency. Hope you keep on feeling better.

    1. Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed them! I’m totally fine after taking the supplement.

  7. Sorry to hear about your health. Glad you’re feeling better.

    1. Thanks so much, yeah I’m okay now.

  8. The memes are so funny! Love them! Glad you’re doing what you need to to get your health on track!

    1. So glad you enjoyed it and yes luckily I’m all good now!

  9. Sometimes, posting something out of routine works really well. So, no issue with these blogging memes. These are quite interesting!
Sorry to learn about your health issues. Hope you will be OK with routine medication. Take some rest as well.

    1. Yeah, it’s fun to try new things on the blog. Glad you enjoyed them.
Yeah, I should be fine as long as I take the supplements regularly as the doctor suggested.

      1. Stay healthy and blessed!

  10. Vitamin D deficiency and health issues … 🙄. Glad you’re better!

    1. Thanks, so glad I’m better now I felt really ill for a while 🥹

  11. Thats how I imagined you as a blogger 🤪

As for vitamin D, go in the sun, open your mouth 😲 and sit like that for few hours. 😅

Take care, I hope you feel better soon. 😀

    1. Lolll 😅

Unfortunately, I’ve tried doing that (minus open mouth lol) and it doesn’t work because my body doesn’t properly absorb D3. So the only thing to do is take the pills regularly.

      I’m okay now, thanks 😊

      1. Next time try without clothes and an open mouth.

Then chant, oh sun give me some sunshine, oh sun give me some Sunshine 😮🌞

I know you know what’s best for you. I’m concerned for you dearest PG.
Please take care and be well. 🤗🤗

        Sending some love ❤️

        1. Will have to give that a try next lol 😅

Thanks so much, I am lucky enough to be surrounded by doctors so I never have to worry too much about health 😅

          1. In that case don’t eat apples.

I really hope, you feel better.
I get worried when you say your health is not good.
You say that atleast twice a month.
            Can’t you be happy? 😭

            Be well buddy 🤗

            1. Apples are so gross who would eat them?? 😫

I know, the universe just hates me lol 😅

              1. Same people who doesn’t eats dragon fruit
                Take care

  12. Thanks for the laughs. great memes.😁

glad you feeling better and do take care 🤍✨

    1. So glad you enjoyed them and thank you 😬

      1. 😁🤣really enjoyed
        most welcome 🤍

  13. I hope you feel better . Vitamin deficiency are no joke . My Doberman was born with out the ability to absorb vitamin B and I just found out this year after having him for almost 11 years . I have him on vitamin b 12 tabs now and I break them apart in his food . The vet even told me to cook chicken and pasta to spinkle on his food too .

    1. Thanks so much. Wow, that’s so scary. Apparently being born without the ability to absorb certain vitamins is more common than we think. It’s the same for my D3. My body doesn’t absorb it well so I have to take supplements.

      1. Oh wow ! Yeah , he’s doing so much better and even gained some weight. The vet said his target is 70 lbs , so hopefully we’ll get there . I think supplements are so helpful . I take a few just so I can stay healthy too .

        1. Oh good, I’m so glad he’s doing better and yeah supplements helps so much. Hopefully he’ll get to his target weight soon.

  14. Taking pills for a long time may have an adverse effect on your health. Sunlight is a good source of Vitamin D. You should consume food that contains Vitamin D rather than relying on pills. I think you should consult your doctor for alternate and healthy sources of getting Vitamin D. As you are a vegan, you should also consult your doctor about how it can affect your health. Take care of your health.

    1. Supplements don’t usually have adverse effects the way medications too. Yeah, the first thing I did was talk to my doctor who is aware that I am vegan. This deficiency is unrelated to diet and the reason that my deficiency was so bad was because my body is unable to naturally absorb vitamin D which is why supplements are best. Thanks so much.

  15. Too much truth in those memes 🙂

    1. Lol, I felt that way too 😅

  16. Loved these memes. I hope you keep on feeling better my friend

    1. So glad you enjoyed them and yes now that I took the supplement I’m doing well.

      1. That’s good to know. Take care.

  17. I’m glad you found the root of the problem. Sometimes a small change in diet can bring big results. If you ask my mom she would prescribe you a list of things you MUST take, she is funny like that. I sometimes break down and start taking a thing or two she says is vital for my health. Get better soon!

    1. Lol, my mum is the same way. Unfortunately, not being able to absorb vitamin D is genetic for me and runs in my family. The supplement helped so much and I’m okay now!

      1. Good to hear that

  18. yes gupta do drugz dailey

    1. That’s my motto…

      1. spent ninety minutes in the dentists chair. ouch.

        1. That’s why I don’t go to the dentist

          1. and no groovy pain killers

  19. My younger sister was once vitamin D deficient and she got back on track.
    You’ll be okay 😉
I’m glad you like your therapist. I’m seeing one now since my mom died (and another good friend just died too, but I can’t post about him yet out of respect for the family).
    Stay healthy, Pooja!
    (Good tune too!)

    1. I’m so glad to hear that. Unfortunately, my body just doesn’t absorb vitamin D (it’s a genetic thing) so supplements it is. Still, I was able to find organic/natural pills and those have helped a lot.
It’s definitely a good idea to see a therapist when you’re having tough time. And losing two people you love is not easy at all.
      Thanks and you too!

  20. Love the memes, Pooja! I hope you are feeling better and I am glad you were able to diagnose the problem.

    1. So glad you enjoyed them! Yes, I’m so glad too because I had become quite sick and thankfully I’m fine now.

  21. relatable memes and funny too. Not getting enough vitamin d can be problematic,, but its good that supplements are helping

    1. Thanks, so glad you enjoyed the memes. Yeah, I didn’t realise how seriously the deficiency could affect our health. This was an eye opener for me.

    1. Glad you enjoyed them 😀

        1. My pleasure.

  22. Some memes are quite relatable! 😂 and please take care of your health! Get well soon, Pooja❣️

    1. Glad you found them relatable! Thanks, I’m all good now 🥰

  23. I’m sorry for your vitamin D defiency, which I’ve heard of as a problem but don’t know more about. I trust you’re doing what you should be doing (sooner or later) and the help you receive is good. I continue to be glad over your happiness with your therapist. My challenges are cardiac-related, which I’ve been living with for a while now. Currently, the issues are salt and fluid retention. Both kinds are or can be bad for the heart. I’m meeting with new people and trying to cope with new medications and treatments. I like your memes. They are witty and apt.

    1. Thanks so much. Yes, I discussed it with my doctor and now that I am taking the supplements I’m completely fine.
Sorry to hear about your health issues. I hope the new medications and treatments help with the retention issue.

  24. Great blogging memes.
The third one is so freaking accurate to me .

    1. Thanks so much, so glad you enjoyed them.

  25. Yeah. Vitamin D is important for bones and your immune system. I take 7000 IU a day. Any less and I get back pain. So glad to hear you’re feeling better Pooja.

    1. Yeah and it’s so necessary for other things too. Like you can get high blood pressure due to low vitamin D as well. My legs hurt when I don’t take the supplement and only recently realise the pain was related to my deficiency.
      Thanks so much.

  26. Loved the memes. Glad to hear you are feeling better. I love apples, especially McIntosh. An apple a day keeps the doctor away and apparently Pooja too, lol.

    1. So glad you enjoyed them. Lol absolutely 😅

  27. Hilarious the second memes 😁😄

    1. So glad you enjoyed them 😊

  28. Great memes!! Vitamin D deficiency leads to problems…I didn’t know I had it until my hair was shedding more than usual. I thought being outside was enough but blood tests showed really low numbers. Since taking vitamins, I have more energy.
Hope you feel better soon!! Thank goodness you found out about it.

    1. Yeah, I thought getting some sun would help too but I need supplements after all.
      Thanks!

  29. Loved those memes…funny but true 😂😂
    Take care darling 💛💛

    1. So glad you enjoyed them 😅 Thanks 😊

  30. Great memes! The one about the plug-ins, though…far too true. I once helped someone who’s site was knocked completely offline by a plug-in conflict. Getting that resolved was…interesting…

    1. Thanks so much. Yeah, I’ve had issues due to plugins too. They can be really difficult to get just right.

  31. Great memes 🤣🤣.

    1. Glad you enjoyed them 😜

  32. I’m really grateful that you are talking with someone. I am eventually considering doing the same. It would be good to have an objective opinion to help sort things out. I am grateful that mental health is starting to become more normalized. It really has been overdue. Love the memes!!!!!! Im happy to hear you have help with your vitamin D deficiency. I take a high dose of that daily too. It does wonders. Happy you’re feeling better 🤗

    1. Thanks so much. Yeah, I think it helps so much to have some objective give you their thoughts and opinions on things. It helps you see things more clearly as they are and not as you perceive them. I would definitely recommend therapy.
Thanks and yeah having enough vitamin D is amazing haha! 🤗

      1. It really is ! It helps with the mood so much. It’s actually crazy how huge the difference you feel is. I definitely noticed a shift in me when I don’t take it.

        1. Same, like it makes such a huge difference. I had no idea it also effected your mood, digestion etc.

          1. I didn’t either until I did research. I was so shocked 😮😳. It’s amazing what our bodies need.

            1. It’s something so small, I think most people don’t realise how vital it is. True, our body has such specific needs 🤯

              1. It really does. It blows my mind all the time

      2. It really is !! I’m so happy it helps you !! You deserve peace and happiness, Pooja. You’re such a good person ❤️

        1. Thanks so much, really appreciate your kind words ❤️

          1. You’re welcome 🤗

  33. I am glad you’re feeling better and I enjoyed these memes – particularly the “You reading my blog!” one with the girl who has crazy eyes. I love seeing that classic continuing to be repurposed.

    1. Thanks so much, so glad you enjoyed them. The girl with the crazy eyes is one of my favourite classic memes too.

      1. We all end up being known for something. Her thing is pretty great, though.

        1. Lol, agreed.

  34. Why do I relate to all these memes 😂.
The first and second one more.

    1. Glad you enjoyed them.

  35. Okay wait! Did everyone miss the D… joke or I’m just a pervert 🤔

    1. I think everyone ignored it lol 😆

  36. All of these made me laugh.

    1. So glad you enjoyed them.

  37. This song is so gorgeous!!! (I can’t ever start with “Why is no one talking about…” since the video of the guy who calls his friend and asks why no one is talking about mini lasagnas in a loaf pan. )

    1. I’m so glad you enjoyed the song, I absolutely fell in love with it as soon as I heard it and wanted to support the artist by sharing it since she isn’t that big yet. Lol, that video is everything!
