Six Word Story #212

Six Word Story:

Six Word Story

Panoply of books, a readers paradise.

About This Six Word Story:

This six word story is a response to fellow blogger, Kevin’s, No Theme Thursday prompt post for this week. He has awesome image prompts every week and they never fail to evoke one’s imagination. Do check out his site to see the images he’s shared for this week!

I decided to share a six word story today for three reasons. Firstly, I didn’t have much else to share since I had a busy day. Secondly, I haven’t shared a prompt response or a SWS in quite a while. I love doing both and missed them. And lastly, I have a follower that particularly enjoys my six word stories. And I always love when my readers enjoy what I post. But I haven’t shared a six word story in quite a while so I decided to share one and hopefully he’ll enjoy it.

I tried to use a new word in today’s SWS- “panoply.” It means, “an extensive or impressive collection.” This was my first time reading it and this image seemed quite fitting for it. This is probably what most readers happy place looks like lol.

Did you enjoy this six word story? What do you see when you look at the prompt image? Have you used the word panoply before? Let me know in the comments below because I would absolutely love to hear your thoughts. Or simply stop by and say hi!

  1. I like this one, Pooja, nice and short! It instantly reminded me of an old Twilight Zone episode which I have put a link here for you to follow. Great stuff!

    1. Thanks so much! Oh cool, let me check it out 😀

      1. You’re welcome, Pooja, I love those old films!

        1. I actually very recently saw the one you shared, I’ve gotten really into watching clips of The Twilight Zone online!

          1. It’s so fun isn’t it! TV was great back then. ❤️

            1. It is, the last one I watched was the episode where that girl turns into a mannequin 😲

              1. Yeah, that’s a great episode! Have you tried Instagram? It’s been down for almost a week here.

                1. That sucks, it’s been alright here and working fine. Sometimes it’s only down in some areas.

                  1. I’ve deleted and installed the app which made no difference. Irritating. Maybe it’s a sign that I need to get away from IG! It’s such a time-suck.

                    1. That’s so weird, maybe you can reach out to tech support or something?

                    2. I don’t think that IG gives a crap. They have millions of users.

                    3. That’s so sad but yeah most companies don’t care once they get big.

                    4. I just uninstalled and reinstalled IG on my iPad, it made no difference twice now. Something really bad has happened! I hope my account is still there.

                    5. I still see your account but maybe you were hacked or something?

                    6. I don’t think so, Pooja. Checking the web I see that others are still not able to use IG.

                    7. Maybe it depends on your IP cos some areas have more issues than others.

                    8. I’m not using a VPN so that’s not the issue. I’m just hoping it will come back on its Own.

                    9. I hope so too. Sometimes it’s just a glitch and fixes itself.

                    10. Me too I can still log in to the account but that’s it. It’s telling me there is an error and that I have no posts or followers. What the heck happened! It’s angering and frustrating. But it’s still just social media not real life. My blog works great as you know Pooja.

                    11. That’s definitely frustrating but hopefully it’ll be resolved. Yes, thankfully your blog is working great.

                    12. My IG came back online over night. Amazing.

                    13. Oh good, that was so weird but glad it fixed itself.

                    14. Me too!
