Can you believe July is already here? It feels like just yesterday I was celebrating the start of the new year. And not it’s halfway gone. It’s crazy how time flies these days.
July is going to be a particularly busy month for me. Probably the busiest month of the year. It’s and dad’s birthday this month which will be exciting. A lot of my cousins are getting married. To be fair, I didn’t know they existed but were very kind about the invites to their wedding so we’ll be going. And of course, the most exciting of all is that my book, All The Words I Kept Inside, will be published on the 9th of this month. Which also happens to be my dad’s birthday which is a cool coincidence.
So yeah, just a lot of stuff happening this month. Quite a bit to look forward to. The month hasn’t started out great because my insomnia is back and worse than ever. But hopefully things will get better and it’ll be a good month.
Just wanted to take a minute to wish all my Canadians friends and readers a very Happy Canada Day! I only celebrated it once while living in Canada because I usually came home for summer to Kenya but it was still cool. Anyway, have a great one y’all.
