Blogger Interview With N. D. Jackson

Blogger Interview With Rita

Today, I’ll be sharing my Blogger Interview with N. D. Jackson. I was first introduced to her writing because of her vegan recipes. As many of you may know, I’m plant based and always appreciate when people share easy and delicious recipes. I love that she uses easily available ingredients and the recipes don’t have so many steps that I’m not overwhelmed before I even start. Later, I learnt that she is also a fantastic writer and has published multiple books. You’ll find the link to her books at the end of the post.

This was such a fun interview for me to conduct, although I could easily say that for all of the interviews. I may be bias but us bloggers are awesome. Anyway, we talked about so many things and I was happy to find that we actually had quite a few things in common. We chatted about food, travel, health, writing, blogging and so much more. I really hope you enjoy this interview and find it as fun as we did.

  1. Took me a few minutes into the interview to subscribe to her food blog! Great energy and I need to follow more vegan blogs. 🙂

    1. Yay, glad to hear that- I’m sure you’ll love her recipes!

  2. Thank you for introducing us to this blogger, Pooja. I prefer vegetables over meat but have difficulty getting enough protein.

    1. Happy to share the interview. I understand, plant based protein sources are a bit more complicated but thankfully there are much more options now.

  3. Really appreciate it

    1. Thanks so much.

    1. Thanks so much, yes veganism isn’t very popular yet but it’s nice to learn about new diets and lifestyles. Glad you enjoyed the interview.

        1. My pleasure 😊

  5. This was such a cool interview with Natasha. I couldn’t sleep, so this blog was a good companion while I wrestled with my insomnia 😜
My sis was vegan due to her illness, and she introduced me to so much while she was trying to get her diet right. I was her guinea pig. But I didn’t mind lol.

    1. Thank you so much, haha that’s perfect 😅
It’s fun to try new vegan recipes, that was my sister when I first went vegan and started experimenting lol.

  6. As said before….nice series. Thanks. 🙏

    1. Thanks so much 😊

  7. I have been thinking about cutting back on meat. The recipes look very good, so I will definitely give some a try.

    1. Glad to hear that, do give her recipes a try. They’re quite easy to make and so delicious too.

  8. Great interview.

    1. Thank you.

  9. Fascinating. I love vegan. Always up for tasty recipes!

    1. Thanks and yes lots of delicious vegan recipes!

  10. Great interview, Pooja. I’m always impressed with people can go the distance with vegan! Vegetarian is easy but there’s a lot to navigate. So helpful in health conditions. I also love she has 2 books in a whole other directions. Maybe a vegan cookbook next time. 💗

    1. Thanks so much. It’s easier to be vegan these days but still more difficult than other diets. Especially with her living in a country where veganism isn’t well known. Oh yesss, I would love a vegan cookbook from her! 😊💕

  11. Wonderful interview, Pooja. I’ve cut down on meat considerably and feel beng vegan is much healthier. Thank you so much for sharing. 💗

    1. Thank you so much, that’s great. Even cutting down on meat, especially red meat is good. Much better for our heart health.

      1. You’re welcome, Pooja. You know, I don’t miss meat that much either. 😊

  12. Nice interview Pooja 🤣😎🙃

    1. Thanks so much 😊

  13. Nice interview, you girls!
Just noticed one curious thing, potatoless curry isn’t real curry in my opinion, because potatoless life is doomed to misery, that’s a scientific fact, I can imagine the world without tequila or cannabis, but without potatoes – no bueno

    1. I totally agree with the sentiment but potato-less curry means Naan or other bread to dunk in the curry!!

    2. Thank you! Haha I’m the opposite, I prefer curry without potatoes lol.

      1. That’s funny, I eat it exclusively for having potatoes

        1. I prefer plantain or casava.

          1. I know what plantain is but never heard of casava

            1. Cassava is my favourite, I would so recommend cassava fries or cassava chips. I love both. I don’t know if it’s as readily available in the US but it’s very popular in Kenya.

              1. I will look for it, I’m pretty sure we have it

                1. I’m sure you’ll find Cassava chips if nothing else because we used to get them in Canada too.

  14. Thanks for doing this Pooja! I had a blast and I’m happy I didn’t appear as nervous as I felt. Such a good conversation with you.

    1. It was so much fun and yeah you didn’t seem nervous at all!

  15. Another great interview, Pooja. Stay well. 🙏

    1. Thank you so much, hope you enjoyed it 😊

  16. Great interview!

    1. Thank you!

      1. You’re welcome!

    1. Thank you.

  17. Love vegan recipes and also I love reading about history too, although I don’t read true crime anymore. LOL. Wonderful interview. Me too. I am always looking for vegan recipes. Yes, simple recipes are the best. Really? Germany has vegan stores? I hope they are not too expensive. LOL. National vegetable is pork. That is funny. I don’t know romanians eat pork so much. My impression is that Germans like pork knuckles and Americans like bacon.

    1. Thank you so much. Yes, her recipes are wonderful and easy to make which I appreciate since I don’t always have time to make complicated recipes. Apparently, veganism is quite popular in Germany. I didn’t know pork was so popular there either, I thought beef would be more popular in Europe.

  18. Need to check it out!
Especially it’s about food and stuff

    Thanks for sharing it.

    1. Thanks so much!

  19. […] books here and her recipes here. I also had her on my podcast, you can listen to the full interview here. Thank you so much for this nomination, […]
