Just ‘Cuz We Need To Move

Just 'Cuz We Need To Move

I don’t know if anyone even remembers this but my cousin brother, my sister and I had started a podcast last year called Just ‘Cuz. We shared one episode and then sort of ghosted our listeners after that. To be fair, we had a lot going on in our lives and we did talk about recording more episodes but something or the other always came up. The other day, we were like we just need to sit and record today. And that’s what we did. And today, I am happy to share our second official podcast episode titled Just ‘Cuz We Need To Move.

We have a lot of weird and humorous stories about our neighbours and things we have witnessed in our neighbourhood that we thought we would share on the podcast. They’re often things that are very amusing to us and thought they might be to our listeners too. This episode is the first part of a series.

You can listen to the episode on Spotify. Whichever you choose, please subscribe for more episodes. We promise to share them more regularly from now on!

    1. Yes, we get along well with my cousin brothers (one of which is on the podcast) and have a good time laughing together.

      1. Great!!☺️🙌

  8. Oh, man, I bet this is hysterical! I’ll check it out ASAP (not tonight – hub’s asleep). I once had a neighbor with whom I shared a wall, and he would often go off on loud, strident monologues, which I could hear. I pictured him looking into his bathroom mirror, ranting and railing and shaking his fist at his own image. I couldn’t make out much of the content, some historical and quasi-political craziness. Mostly I turned up my radio to drown it out. Other than that, though, it was a nice apartment, hahaha! 😉

    1. Thank you! Lol wow, it’s crazy that you could hear him in your apartment but at least it was a great place to live minus that!

  9. The podcast is not available for listening/ watching here. If you can share a link it might open. Thanks

      1. This opens Spotify but not your podcast. I’ve had this issue with other podcasts too

        1. Yeah, it can be an issue sometimes. Sorry you weren’t able to open it. If you want to search for it on Spotify manually, the podcast is called Just ‘Cuz.

          1. I’ll do that. Thank you so much

            1. My pleasure.

              1. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

          2. same issue here, Pooja…can’t open the link. will try manually as you suggested here🤍

  10. I wondered what happened when I didn’t see any other episodes after the first one. I will be listening to it. I cannot wait to hear it. Your first episode had me laughing for a good while. I enjoyed it.

    1. Hopefully, this one will make you laugh too. Yeah, we took a break since my sisters health wasn’t so good.

      1. How is your sister? Is she alright?

        1. She’s okay but not great. Her health is still an issue.

  11. Glad to hear you jumped back into it! Having a podcast with cohosts would be fun. I don’t have enough to talk about by myself to keep it going. 😁

    1. Thanks! I totally understand, I think with podcasts it works better if there’s more than one person.

  12. i suppose one could find that situation alarming and amusing
however one should not make light of another s issues
perhaps this neighbor is mentally unstable and unable
but next time try to focus. i know me talking about focsing
    now that s funny
unlike this situation which is not funny

    1. None of the neighbours are or were mentally unstable. We’re still friends with them and talked to everyone mentioned before sharing the episode. They’re all doing very well in life now (married, kids, good jobs etc.).

      1. that s cool. i just thought it could have been presented more ahem cohernetly. dont mind me i can be rather stiff like herbert.

  13. Look forward to listening. I don’t think I knew you started a podcast too! Wow!

    1. Yeah, we started it ages ago but didn’t have enough time to share more episodes. We finally have some time now so trying to share more often. Thanks!

  14. That’s cool ! I’ll have to listen to you pod cast later today !

    1. Thank you so much!

  15. Congratulations on the podcast by you all and for the series. My sister-in-law directed me to start a podcast, but I haven’t, so maybe I can relate to delaying even something that might be good. So good luck! And have a pleasant weekend.

    1. Thank you so much. You absolutely should start a podcast, it’s a whole different ball game but also lots of fun. Have a pleasant weekend too.

  16. ❤️ 🧡💗💓💕Great post 💯

Happy and blessed fryday from Spain 🇪🇸

    🏵️🌹🍀🪷🏵️🪻 Greetings 🌈🇪🇸

    1. Thank you so much ☺️

  17. Hi Pooja, I know it sounds gruesome, but if you wait long enough they just die.
Sorry I just talked to my mom and all her stories are like that, not all of them died, half of them did. Mostly men, women are still going strong lol it’s like a neighborhood of widows in Donetsk, city I never loved.
Anyways, our neighbors here are pretty cool, they never cause trouble. Well, maybe once a year but it doesn’t count, in my book it’s allowed, once a year you can be loud, it’s life… I love Oregon

    1. That’s dark but it’s true. Same here, some of the men have passed on but the women are alive and well.
Oh that’s so nice, compared to the neighbours I’ve had I would take that any day.

      1. We had the neighbors from hell when we lived in Denver, Colorado. Tina and Josh had a few kids and two dogs. One day Tina kicked Josh out, he would come every now and then knocking on her door, Tina, I just want some time with my kid! Why did you call me up? So she would ask him to come babysit the youngest daughter and shut the door so that he felt miserable being unable to enter.
Here is what happened: Josh got a job and was super happy to make some dough finally, she couldn’t handle that, how come he goes out there chatting with hot babes all day?

        1. They sound like they were quite toxic to each other. And it’s sad that the kids probably suffered most because of the disfunction.

          1. I have never heard the kids ever, since the parents were quite disruptive the kids were quiet

            1. That’s so sad.

  18. I’ve almost finished your beautiful book, Pooja! I plan to post my review on Monday, August 26th, and will submit it to Amazon and Goodreads, as well, on that day. Have a great day!

    1. Thank you so much, I’m beyond excited to read your review and I truly appreciate you taking the time to that!

  19. That should be fun, Pooja. Enjoy working with your family.

    1. It is, we have a lot of fun.

  20. Enjoyable …god day.

    1. Enjoyable… good day …(pl to be read as…)

    2. Thanks so much.

  21. Nice project to work on!

    1. Thanks so much!

  22. I remember how much fun you had and are still having.. If everyone has had an annoying neighbor for sure. ❣️

    1. Haha yes we’ve all had the annoying neighbour experience and this was a fun one to share!

      1. We sure have💕 very fun

  23. Love the love between you and your cousins. It obvious you all get along well ❤️.

    1. Thank you so much and yes we get along very well 😊
