Six Word Story:

Resilience is the remedy for hopelessness.

About This Six Word Story:

I always want to share more repossess to prompts but don’t have as much time to do so these days. But today, I was finally able to share my response to Shweta’s Six Word Story Prompt (6WSP) for this week. I am sure that many of you are familiar with Shweta’s wonderful blog and the weekly prompts she shares. But if you aren’t do check out her blog and if this prompt resonates with you as well do share your own response to it on your blog.

I really liked that it was the word resilience because the world needs more of that right now. Times have gotten more difficult over the last decade but resilience is often key. I know that sometimes hopelessness does get the better of us and especially when we feel like we’ve hit rock bottom. But the good thing about life is that life always goes on. No matter how bad it may feel, it will get better eventually. At least that is what I believe and that is what keeps me going.

  7. Resilience isn’t just about enduring hardship, but about adapting, growing, and maintaining hope in the face of adversity. In our current global context, we face ongoing conflicts, climate challenges, economic uncertainties, and social tensions. Resilience is not just desirable; it’s essential.

I experienced war when I was 8 years old. Imagine about an 8-year-old kid in a conflict zone with two siblings aged 5 and 2 years.

    1. I’m so sorry you experienced that and you’e right it’s also about adapting and survival despite hardships.

  8. “Resilience is the remedy for hopelessness.” I believe that. It’s the story of life.

    1. Yes, it really is. Thanks.

  9. said so very well, Pooja🤍💫

  15. Not sure what the universe is trying to say but the theme of hope is strong today, lol. While driving today the song “God Loves You” by Jaci Velasquez came up on my play list. One line in the song is “Even when you’re lost and lonely And hope is gone, you’re not alone” Happy Friday and have a great weekend.
In whispers of silence resides resilience

    1. I think it’s definitely a message from the universe. Stay hopeful that one day the unpacking will be fully done haha. Thank you, have a great weekend too.

      1. Thanks. I suffer no illusions that I will ever be fully unpacked. I think I have boxes from two moves ago that never got unpacked.

        1. Yeah, I’ve come to the same conclusion. Every time I unpack one box another one almost magically seems to appear.

          1. If the boxes were filled with gold and other treasure that would be a good thing, lol.

            1. If only life was that easy lol.

  16. This one felt more like a wise saying than a story Pooj.

    1. Thank you so much!

  32. That’s so true, Pooja. I was thinking along the same lines when I chose this word last week. Resilience helps us bounce back from even the lowest of lows and we definitely need it. I am so happy that you could join in this week. Thank you so much for your kind words and for that lovely shout-out! I am sorry it took me this long to drop by.

    1. Yes, exactly. It helps us when we are at our lowest points, it helps us survive. You’re so welcome and I know you’ve been a bit ill so I totally understand 😊
