Tony Robbins Quote

Quote Of The Day

Tony Robbins Quote:

Tony Robbins Quote

What’s Up With Pooj?

Oh my, so much to say about that. So, I almost died last week (yeah I was really not having a great week) but I don’t want to say more than that because I’ll be sharing a full post about it later on in the week.

I got a facial treatment for the first time in my life yesterday and it was wonderful. The technician was really great too, we had a nice chat about life. It was somewhat therapeutic which I appreciated very much. And it really brightened and tightened and hydrated my skin so yay. I really need to do this more often because my skin is so dehydrated because I don’t drink enough water. I have like two maybe three glasses of fluids a day which is really not enough.

As for my writing, I have been editing so much this month. Which is a big reason why I’ve been so M.I.A from the blogging world. I hate editing SO much, it’s the worst part of writing. But a necessary evil nonetheless. I’m just glad I’m almost done. That is till I have to start over again urghhh.

  1. Good quote — and love the song! I hadn’t heard it. I don’t get out much. 😉 😆 It’s a a great anthem to self-affirmation. I wouldn’t have felt her humor without the video, though, the way she finger-quotes “that time of the month,” for instance. Hysterical! You get the anger, but also an ability to laugh through it.

P.S. Glad you didn’t die. (Really!)

    1. Thanks and so glad you enjoyed both! Haha glad I didn’t die too 😅

  2. Well I guess it’s true that if you don’t do something, you can’t succeed at it.

    1. Yeah definitely, we have to try before we can succeed.

  3. Hey Pooja, I love the quote, I started the journey and now I think it’s time to end it, haha it’s not that bad but I still wanna whine about how hard it is to be a teacher primarily because I drink enough water … not enough breaks … so I have to hold it longer than I want to … true story.
Last week was hard, I had to do a lot of shopping… I hate shopping, it’s not my cup of tea. This week is better, because most of the shopping is done, and I can stay at home knitting and baking, this is what I wanna do.

    1. I can honestly imagine how hard it is to be a teacher, one of the toughest jobs out there. And one of the less appreciated.

Glad this week is better and you can stay in and relax.

      1. I missed a day and now I’m back to work, it’s good for me to stay busy

  4. Blogging hijinks of a bad sort. I’m back on the wordpress.com free plan and have sworn never to pay for blogging again. I tried with hostinger and it went bad and automattic made it worse and jetpack was a misery.

So I wasted 3 days, trashed my blogspot blog by accident and now have to deal with a metric ton of dead links on bookstooge.wordpress.com blog (all the bookstooge.blog links, sigh).

Other than that, things are going Fan-tast-ic! 😉

    1. Yeah, I totally understand that. I’m so disappointed with WP lately.

Oh gosh, that’s awful. Is there no way to restore the blogspot blog?

      1. Unfortunately, I didn’t make a backup because I thought I was smart enough. Sigh….

        1. Oh dang that suck 😕

          1. Yeah, so I’m letting it go for the moment and will decide in ’25 how I want to proceed, ie, whether I rebuild it from scratch (which it needed, honestly, but I’d never had the impetus to take care of it) or just let it be.
I’m not thinking about it right now, enough other things going on 😀

            1. Yeah, just decide when you’re ready.

  5. Nice quote, Pooja. I’m glad that you are okay and had an enjoyable experience for you! I looove water and drink a lot each day, I encourage you to drink more water, Pooja. ❤️😊

    1. Thank you! Yes, I definitely need to drink more water it’s great you love it 🥰

      1. Just do it. ☺️☺️☺️

  6. Well …. since you ask …. I think it’s a ridiculous quote. But I find anything that Tony Robbins says ridiculous. Honestly , what does it mean? What is it supposed to mean?

Try Tom Robbins instead (someone who hasn’t created a career fleecing people via their own insecurities) …..

“We are our own dragons as well as our own heroes, and we have to rescue ourselves from ourselves.”

    or

“So you think that you’re a failure, do you? Well, you probably are. What’s wrong with that? In the first place, if you’ve any sense at all you must have learned by now that we pay just as dearly for our triumphs as we do for our defeats. Go ahead and fail. But fail with wit, fail with grace, fail with style. A mediocre failure is as insufferable as a mediocre success. Embrace failure! Seek it out. Learn to love it. That may be the only way any of us will ever be free.”

If the quote works for you though, that’s fine, but my advice would be to remain always suspicious of advice coming from those who make a living from giving it. They have little interest in advising themselves out of a job.

    1. Those are cool quotes, I’ll check out Tom Robbins.

  7. Wow I am so sorry you had such a terrible week. “Almost died” certainly sounds scary.

About the quote I think it can be inspirational but unfortunately it is not true. It is what some people call toxic optimism. There are impossible journeys that you should not begin. Jumping over the moon using only your legs or trying to venture in and come back out of a black hole are obvious ones. It is true that not trying is certain failure, but that doesn’t mean you should try what is doomed to fail. I’ve seen too many people trying and doing things that were doomed to fail, and some of them died.

    1. Yeah, it’s been a weird last few days.

Oh that makes sense and I get what you mean. I think even depending on your circumstances in life it can be difficult to achieve certain things.

  8. Face care is very important. I added some new methods to my session I am excited about.

    1. Oh that’s great and yeah skincare is so important especially as we get older.

            1. You’re very welcome ☺️

              1. 💞🙏🏼💞

  12. I like the quote. It is true, even the smallest step towards a goal can get you moving towards it. Glad to hear you are feeling better and that you didn’t die. They say, what does not kill you makes you stronger. I am not sure that is theory that one should test though. Good luck with your editing.

    1. Yes, exactly. The first step is the hardest but it gets easier the more we keep going. Thanks so much.

  13. If you don’t try you can never suceed.

  14. Good luck with the editing Pooja. It’s the most frustrating part about the writing process for me.
I’ve been on some Black Sabbath this week. Ozzy gets me going.

    1. Thanks and yeah it’s the most frustrating for me as well. I kind of just want to get it over with.
Oh nice, I love Black Sabbath!

      1. Yeah Sabbath Bloody Sabbath has been on a loop 😆

  16. The Tony Robbins , quote makes good sense and one of my favorite quotes. A good facial is a wonderful way to pamper yourself, Pooja.

I am taking a hiatus from posting my weekly prompts until 2025. I want more time to spend with my family during the holidays. Plus, I need to do some maintenance on my blog and gather some new ideas. 💕

    1. Yeah, it was a really nice way to just relax for a bit.

Oh I see, that totally makes sense. Enjoy the holidays and spending time with the family. I’m sure it’ll be great 😊

      1. Thank you, Pooja!

        1. You’re welcome!

  17. I’m sorry it was not a great week, Pooja. Facials can do a world of good provided one is literally in good hands. 😃

    1. Thanks so much and yes that’s so true. I loved the facial it was so relaxing ☺️

      1. You are welcome. 😊

  18. Editing is a mundane necessity lol

    1. Thanks so much and yes I’m doing much better now.
