Blog Post Ideas For 2025

person wearing white dress shirt and black necktie using macbook air on beige wooden table | Blog Post Ideas For 2025

Most of us start the year out strong but some of us may run out of blog post ideas by the time we’re done with January. It’s me, I’m some of us. Lol just kidding. But I do have to say, people that don’t blog will never understand how much effort it takes to create new content consistently. And yes, sometimes it’s natural to run out of ideas.

When we do something for long enough, we may begin to feel like we have nothing more to say. For some, taking a break at this point can be helpful. It may give your brain the time it needs to get some much needed rest and restart feeling more enthusiastic and ready to create new content.

However, breaks aren’t for everyone. Some people prefer to power through and continue blogging because that helps them with any sort of creative block they may be experiencing. If you’re someone that’s looking for fresh new ideas to create content with this is the post for you. I wanted to share some blog post ideas about content that I think are quite popular on WordPress and will probably be popular this year. Here are my blog post ideas for 2025:

Your Thoughts On AI

AI is a really hot topic right now and almost everyone seems to have their own opinions on it. Some people are fiercely against it, some are fiercely for it and others are somewhere it the middle. When it comes to topics like this one, it’s great for comments and discussions because people have a lot to say about it.

A good blog post idea is sharing your thoughts on AI or do your own research and share your thoughts on how the evolution of AI will affect blogging and online interactions in general. Not only an interesting topic but one of a lot of significance at this time.

Mental Health And Different Approaches To Mental Health

Mental health is always a popular topic on WordPress and will help bring in both traffic and engagement. So, mental health related blog posts are a good idea. And not only will they help bring in more views and comments, I think it’s just really great when people share mental health related content in general because we really need to normalise speaking openly about mental health related issues.

Holistic Approaches To Health

For the last couple of years people have been searching for natural and holistic approaches to health issues. And I’m sure this year will be no different. Holistic health content is likely to remain popular this year too.

Now, I personally believe in both Western and Eastern medicine and think they can both really work well when done properly. And I know a lot of people feel the same way. Sharing content on what has worked for you is something that many would be interested in.

Creative Content

Creative stuff is generally very popular regardless of the platform. If you’re a creative, artsy person take advantage of it. Share that sort of content online because not only is it interesting, it’s also very helpful to people who aren’t as creative. And that means a lot of people will be sharing and saving your content which is great for SEO.

For example, with Valentine’s day coming up why not share some content on how to make your own Valentine’s Day cards or letters. Or share some tips on how to make your own chocolates. Or how to fold letters elegantly for your special someone.

Reviews

Reviews are very popular and very good for SEO. Think about it, before you watch something or read something you’re pretty likely to search for a review of it online to make sure it’s worth your time. Most people do this which makes review based content very popular.

Watched a good TV show or movie recently? Or perhaps read a good book? Review it!

Lifestyle And Travel

Like reviews, lifestyle and travel content is naturally quite popular. People love reading and watching how others live their lives. I kind of get the fascination so I can’t judge. If you’re visiting a new place or just want to share simple lifestyle content like A Day In My Life- go for it!

Self-Care

Self-care has become a very popular topic over the last few years. These days people understand the important of taking good care of oneself. Self-care tips, self-care advice, affordable self-care ideas and so many other topics are bound to bring readers to your blog.

Makeup And Skincare Trends

Like self-care, makeup and skincare has become extremely popular these days. Every year has its own trends and list of do’s and don’t’s. If you’re someone who keeps up with these trends, why not share some content about what products you think are going to be big this year and which ones are out.

Food Related Content

Humans have an interesting relationship with food. People can’t seem to control themselves around food and when we do control ourselves we tend to interact with a lot of food related content. That’s why content like mukbangs, recipes, what I eat in a day etc is quite popular.

So why not get in on the action. If you enjoy cooking, share some of your favourite recipes. Or share what you eat in a day. Those are usually quite popular.

Conclusion

These are some of my blog post ideas for 2025. So, if you’re ever in a rut and feel like you have no ideas for content try some of the topics I mentioned. And save this post for later so you can come back to it if and when you need to.

  1. AI……I use Chat GPT every day pretty much and it seems sometimes constantly..if I need to seach for an answer for anything, screw Google, Chat always has an answer, not 15 million links….my last search, lolo, I actually asked about all things a 66 year old guy needs to know….how am I supposed to dress or act….I think after a few more questions Chat told me to act my age?…….the biggest shock was the first time Chat asked me a question….I was searching a song lyric, and it asked me what that lyric meant to me, I guess it was getting to know me?….I know all the fears have over AI, but Chat is pretty well my fave invension ever

    1. I think AI can definitely be pretty helpful depending on how we use it. And yes in some ways it’s so much easier to ask it instead of searching on search engines.

  2. Blocks can be changes of perspective. Journaling is a big part of keeping a lot of other energies flowing

    1. That’s very true. I’ve been journaling this year and that helps.

  3. Food related stuff is right down my alley.
All good points to consider. I would love to read more about holistic health and skin care.

    1. Thanks so much and will be sharing more posts on both soon.

      1. Looking forward to it

        1. Thanks. Any specific topics you’d like me to share or just general stuff is okay?

          1. Oh, nothing I can think of right away

            1. No worries, I’ll just share general tips and stuff for now. But if you ever think of anything specific let me know.

              1. Some book recommendations or blogs would be cool

                1. Great, will keep that topic in mind.

  4. She’s helping out our brains folks! Let’s get these neurons flowing with creativity! Lol. Seriously, this is extremely helpful and informative. Time to bookmark it! 😊

    1. Hehe thanks so much! 😊

      1. Of course! You’re very welcome Pooj! It’s always a pleasure! 😊

  5. Thanks for the inspiration. I love self care ideas

    1. Always a pleasure and that’s great, self-care related posts are always fun to read.

  6. I think I’m gonna do a post about make up soon..🤪
But I hear you. It is a slug creating fresh content daily..or as often as we do. But there us also so much that we can write about.
AI is indeed a hot topic.. I use it for artwork..but that’d about all. I have friends who sue it for everything. But im not that comfortable training my future overlords lol.

    1. I look forward to your makeup related posts 😅
Thanks and so true, I think if we look around for ideas there’s always going to be something or the other to write about.
Same here, I like to use AI once in a while but that’s about it.

      1. My niece does these make up reels..it’s like an all day photo shoot lol. I don’t have that sort of patience. But why not have a laugh and try it, right?

        1. Yesss it takes so much time and patience but worth a try lol 😂

  7. A lot of great ideas. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Thanks so much.

  8. Great tips! Except my problem is I currently have lots of ideas but very little time to write. I still try to keep current with all my rave bloggers though 🙂 I hope to get back to writing sooner rather than later though

    1. Time is a big issue, I have to really stick to my schedule to make sure I have time to blog. I look forward to reading your wonderful posts again soon 🙂

    1. That’s a great way to share content too- just let the words flow 🙂

      1. Thank You
        Dear Pooja☺️💫

        1. You’re very welcome ☺️

  10. 🙏🌹

    Aum Shanti

  11. Great ideas Pooja. I mostly respond to various prompts on WP or my own prompts.

    1. Thanks so much. Prompts are a great way to get our creative juices flowing.

      1. They are and also give my thoughts a new direction

      2. Very true.

  12. With my blog being a book review blog with just a little bit of everything else, I never run out of ideas. Don’t know what to write? I just have to review the latest book I’m reading, hahahahaha 😀
which I will admit gets to be a slog sometimes. There are times I just want to chuck the book review out the window and say “screw it” and let the blog rest for a week or three. But it’s not just about putting up new content, my book reviews are how I keep track of what is important to me over the years and decades. and it shows how I’m changing. I like that introspective part of blogging.

    1. Reviews are great because you already know your schedule and what you’re going to be posting. I totally do understand that, after a while sharing the same topic can get overwhelming. But that’s why it’s so important to write for yourself and enjoy the process. Like you said, for you it’s about keeping track of your reading and that gives you reason to continue.

  13. Call me odd, but AI seems very dangerous in how it can evolve from being used in the online world.

    1. I’m with you on that. I also find it so unethical how platforms try to push AI on us and used our content to train AI. At least with WP we can opt out but with platforms like Twitter you have no other option.

      1. My iPhone has the AI crap on it now but I don’t see any difference. I opted out but did they really opt us out?

          1. AI = 💀 😂

            1. I just don’t trust any company that has previously stolen our work to honor some new “agreement”.

              1. I completely agree! Corporate America can’t always be trusted.

        1. That’s the problem, we’ll never really know and now AI is everywhere. We can’t get away even when we try.

          1. We can always go offline forever. 😂

            1. Of course 😅

  14. You are super kind to share your ideas with others! 😊 I love that you have a variety of content as well and talk about different aspects of your life, gives us a look into the “real” you which I always think is so important! 😊 💕

    1. Aw thanks so much, I love talking about multiple things I feel like I connect with everyone here more that way too 😊💕

  15. I don’t use AI but I find it fascinating. It will change the world more than anything else! We’re on a new threshold.

    1. I agree, now we wait and see if it’ll change the world for the better or for worse.

  16. Loved this — excellent ideas 👌💘😆

    1. Thanks so much 😊💕

      1. You are welcome Pooja 😆🫡💌🫶

  17. This is great advice, Pooja. I feel AI has its advantages and disadvantages. One of the browsers that I use (Brave) is my go to for reseach. The site’s AI segment is very helpful and I find it much easier and faster to use than Google. ❣️

    1. Thanks so much and I agree. AI can be used for a lot of good but can also be damaging. Hopefully, it will be regulated soon.

      1. You are most welcome.

  18. Wow! Your blog post gives me a strong feeling of richness.
So many diverse ideas & theme. Most of them are interesting!

I think people should know a creative side of me, Loku.
I do watch movies and their reviews regular. I do have a kind of internal connection with the Music. Like it can make me happy or sad in few moments!

I don’t read many books, out of my syllabus. But I do search for some reviews, highlights & summary of some books.
I can review blogs instead (I have this plan for long).

I just imagine creative a comic around the bloggers & the world of blogging.
But I’m lazy… and busy too (on certain days).

You must have put in lots of hardwork to write this post.
So just thank you as a LifesFineWhine reader!☺️👏🏻
    Take care. Enjoy!

    1. Thanks so much. I would love to read more about you and your reviews etc. Consider it for this year.

      Thanks so much 😊

  19. This is so helpful! I like that you didn’t just speak about the ideas everyone gives, you gave some really intriguing options! Have saved this post for future reference so thank you 😊✨️💗

    1. Thank you! I wanted to share topics I know are popular and fun to read 😊💕

  20. Thank you for the information you’ve shared, Pooja. I saw a funny meme recently describing how long January is compared to other months. Your intro made me think of that. I have an idea drawer – a place I toss ideas that I don’t have time for. I haven’t had to dig through it yet, but I also don’t post every day. Best to you and your readers! ✍🏼

    1. Thanks so much. Lol that’s so true, January feels like forever haha 😂

      1. Made me laugh too! 👍🏻 You’re so welcome! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

  21. I just finished taking a long break, I came back with a better understanding of where I want my blog to go. You’re absolutely right !!

    1. That’s great, breaks definitely help a lot!

  22. Great topics. Thanks, Pooja!

    1. Thanks so much!

  23. These are trending topics, as you say, and are also important (beyond being popular). I look forward to your work on these. In my verse, I often focus on greed in the world and what I call despotism, sort of a catch-all for those who think they should be lord, dictator, politician, what have you over others. I also write about Gospel love, that is the love of God or “agape” (which I wish had a better rendering from Greek). The unconditional quality of the love of God and how that actually might matter to us. Great work on your part, as always!

    1. Thanks so much. I really love your poetry and I think the topics you write about are important. Especially calling our hypocrisy and greed that you see in the world.

      1. Thanks for your comments on my work. I don’t hear much (partly my fault). And to read anything by you is significant, and this response means especially a great deal. We have ice falling here. I doubt it’s icy there.

        1. You’re most welcome. I’ve tried to comment on some of your posts but I don’t know if they went through. But I do read and enjoy them very much.
Yes, thankfully no ice here. Stay safe and warm.

  24. Excellent post, Pooja, with super practical springboards!

    1. Thanks so much!

  25. You are always planning ahead and I’m looking forward to seeing what you produce this year.

    1. Thanks so much, I appreciate that. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy the posts.

  26. These are some really good content ideas. I’ve been searching for some ideas to help my blog this year. This came at the right time!

    1. That’s great, hope you got some ideas from the post!

      1. I did 😄

  27. Great content!

  28. It’s definitely hard when are overthinking. Just write damn it. LOL

    1. It so is, it’s like shut up brain lol!

  29. Great tips, Pooja. I’m into AI, spirituality, holistic health, technology, art, and topics that make me think….

    1. Thanks so much. Yeah, I love those topics that bring up healthy conversations and debate. We as a collective need to have more of those deeper conversations online and in the real world. I love that your blog posts also make me think.

      1. Indeed, Pooja. Thanks.

        1. You’re very welcome.

  30. Great post Pooja, look forward to new content, for what it’s worth I always enjoyed your blogging advice posts and your blogger interviews as well!

    1. Thanks so much. More blogging advice posts will definitely be coming soon and hopefully blogger interviews will be back in a while!

  31. Great list of ideas, Pooja! Most times my blog is where my muse comes out to play. It’s keeping her focused that can be the problem, lol. 💞

    1. Thank you! Lol, I know what you mean most of us writers have that problem 😅

  32. This is a fabulous and informative post, Pooja, with many great suggestions for people to use to reset or jazz up their blogs.

With mine being a daily, music-themed blog, I’m never short of material to write content on, but sometimes finding the time is a challenge if it’s a really busy day. I just hosted my second blog post and that’s maybe another suggestion (one I got from your blog, btw!) for when time (or ideas) are short for people. I am thinking I may even make guest posts a weekly feature…

    1. Thanks so much. That’s so great, I think with a music themed blog it’s hard to run out of content since there’s so much music out there. And that’s awesome, guest posts can be so fun sometimes!

      1. My pleasure, and yes, it is fun!

  33. 😂can’t wait for the make up post!

    1. Lolll 😅🤭

  34. Good way to expand the sharing and Cari g for peeps. I should like AI. It would make my life easier but old habits die hard. I’m protective of creatives! ❤️

    1. Lol yes it does make life easier but yes lets have regulations on it so we can protect our content too 😊

  35. As someone who worked in programming computers for many years maybe I will take you up on the subject of AI!!! Thanks for the suggestions!

    1. That would be so interesting, especially since you’ve worked in that field. If you ever get time do share your thoughts on AI!

      1. I will try to! Thanks for the inspiration!

        1. You’re very welcome!

  36. These are some nice ideas, However, you don’t want to know my thoughts on AI! I’m not sure that kind of language is permitted. 🤣😎🙃

    1. Thanks! Lol now I really want to hear your thoughts on AI 😅
