This two sentence story was inspired by Kevin’s No Theme Thursday prompt for the week. He has so many great images as always. You can check out his prompts for the week here.

I have had a tough 24 hours. Just a lot of stuff has been going on in my life and being around a narcissist can be so incredibly draining. But I’ve decided I’m going to try my best to stay positive and live the best life I can despite hindrances. And that’s what inspired me to share a more humorous little story. I saw this image and this was the first thing I thought of because it’s so common for people to tell others the universe doesn’t revolve around them. But it just so happens that things do seem to revolve around this knight lol.

Oh and I can see again now that I have my new glasses- that made this post so much more fun to write lol!

Also, let’s take a minute to admire this really cool image. Like good job, Kevin. It’s so unique and eye-catching. His images are always so cool.

        Yes, it does hurt. It hurts a lot. 🥺 Especially when you’ve done nothing wrong to warrant any justified guilt. But, as long as you’ve done nothing wrong, then it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. You can look right at that mirror and smile for knowing you did nothing wrong. And, even if there was a situation where you did do something wrong, then that’s okay too. That intrinsic value within you doesn’t magically disappear the moment we screw something up. Right or wrong, you should always be loved. 💖

          Thanks for saying that. I agree, when we’ve done nothing wrong we can move on guilt free. And even if we didn’t, it’s okay as long as we learn and try to do better. We all deserve love and compassion 😊💕

(And in my country, we are all living with one, so we get it.)

    The entire universe is theirs, at last.
    I liked your two sentence story and how it incorporated the picture as part of the story. Does this mean you are campaigning for ruler of the universe? lol.

    I hope you got “rose-colored glasses” as in the idiom. Narcissus looking at his reflection in a pool of water may one day see a shark who invites him for lunch. Here’s my two-sentence story:

        Happy face, my darling, come tell me if your day was like I imagined, you dancing as if in love with everyone because how could anyone not know how sweet you are when you are a laugh upon everyone’s day.
        I know I compete with the world, but I think I know a secret and if I whisper it in your ear, I know you will decode me in every secret mystery, knowing I am truly in love with you as we are we, and I wait for you to arrive because who else can be coming home when I have all the welcome lights lit, knowing that Santa has promised me you as a gift that I would cherish carefully until all the world loved you as much as I do.

    Incisive story and I’m sorry for its corresponding to life just now. Yes, folk who are self-obsessed are difficult. But thank goodness for the glasses and other things that might be helpful. The armor looked imposing. But she wondered if anything foreboding or at all was inside.

    Narcissists always make people feel less worthy. That’s how they get energised. The funny part is they don’t feel guilty of that! In fact, they aren’t even aware of what they’re doing. This realization made me less agitated and just knew it’s their problem, not mine. Hope you stay positive, Pooja.

      Yes, absolutely true. They feed off other people feeling negatively. And yeah, they don’t understand what they’re doing wrong and never will because narcissism isn’t curable. We just have to let go and not take their behaviour personally.
