I wrote this post about being an adult while I took some time away from blogging and thought I would share it today since I did not have anything else ready to post. So enjoy my whinings for the day.
What I find most depressing about being an adult is that it never ends. You never seem to get a break from it. At least I don’t seem to, maybe some of you are doing better at this than I am.
As an adult we see ourselves so clearly for the first time and we see who we want to be but at the same time we see others more clearly too. We see those that we cherished that never reciprocated that energy, we see those who stand by our side through the ups and downs and we see those trying to pull us down with them.
It’s lonely and depressing, seeing the world as it is, taking off the rose-coloured glasses. I want to go back to who I was at 16 even for a few minutes but that’s the things about being an adult- it never ends. There are no breaks from it. We just have to keep going.
That’s all for now, I may have seen a spider run under my bed and hide so I’m off to find a new place to live. Toodles.
If you’re an adult, what are your thoughts on it? Let me know in the comments below. Or simply stop by and say hi.
