An Abundance Of Blessings

All The Words I Kept Inside By P. J. Gudka Book Reveal

It’s no secret that it’s been a particularly difficult year for me. However, there has been such an abundance of blessings that I simply can’t not be grateful. One thing I am particularly thankful for is all the support I’ve received for my book. I’ve been meaning to share a thank you post for some new reviews I’ve received and thought today would be a good day to do that.

I received this lovely review from Susi, her blog is called I Write Her and I’m sure some of you are familiar with it. She has some wonderful poetry and writings there that I’ve very much enjoyed. If you haven’t already, do check out her blog by clicking here. You can also find her books here.

I also received this wonderful review from Michele Lee Sefton of My Inspired Life. She has been so supportive of my writing, I am very thankful. I recently reviewed the novel she published last month called Jade’s Broken Bridge. You can read it here. And you can check out her blog here if you haven’t already.

Lastly, I want to thank the wonderful Siri from Beyond Sirius Sea. She recently shared her thought on her my book on her blog and on her Halloween post she shared that she had been reading and enjoying it. I can’t thank her enough for the support she has shown not only for my book but my blog as well. She is truly one of the sweetest and kindest people on here and I am so thankful to have connected with her through WordPress. You can find her wonderful blog here.

Happy Halloween

  1. It is nice that you are getting so many great reviews

    1. Yeah, it’s a really good feeling. Thank you for your wonderful review too, you were one of the first people to share it.

  2. I am so glad to see you being thankful for your blessings. American Thanksgiving is coming up in less than 3 weeks and I’m starting to draft my post. It’s made me realize how much I have to be thankful for. So to see your post is very serendipitous 😀

    1. That’s a cool coincidence. Truly, life is tough but there is so much to be grateful for. Even being alive is something we take for granted but should be thankful for.

  3. It’s a blessing to have friends
They last longer than fashion trends
They brighten each and every day
I’m happy to know they are here to stay

    1. Absolutely agree 🙂

  4. Not sure how to react on in this.

In general, I am happy for you. It’s good to see you are making collective efforts to get recognised your writing and add meaning to individual lives.

So many bloggers have published their books, in the recent years.
It’s not possible for me to make any financial decisions on my own as I rely on my family. Maybe in future when I’ll be earning I’ll be buying books of my interests and choices.

You can’t review a book without reading it.

    All The Best!

    1. This is the reason why I unfollowed some bloggers.
Because they do expect something, and you too feel guilty for not helping them directly.

Platforms like Medium are doing better in this context. WordPress doesn’t value its creators.

    2. Thanks so much and I understand what you mean, some bloggers push their books to the extent that people are expected to buy them but it’s not possible for everyone financially. And even in general. Personally, even if someone has the money to, I don’t expect them to buy and read my book unless they choose to/want to. But I am eternally grateful for those that have chosen to read it and share their reviews. For those that haven’t, I totally understand.

  25. I find it very thoughtful how you acknowledge and demonstrate appreciation to your reviewers of your publication here on your blog. Not everyone takes the time to do that, so your effort stands out. This appreciation then becomes the gift that keeps on giving as you refer followers to their work and they refer readers to your works.

    1. Thank you so much. It means so much to me that people have taken the time to support my writing and I want to make sure they know how grateful I am.

  26. those reviews are fantastic! I love all 3 bloggers! xo
