A Busy Time

person sitting on rock on body of water | The Art Of Letting Go | Accepting You Have A Mental Illness | My Week Thus Far | Call Me By My Name | A Busy Time | Ten lessons I've learnt in 2025

You may have noticed that I have been trying to post more regularly for the last few weeks. Not as much as I would like to but still more than before. However, I wanted to let everyone know that for the rest of the year I won’t be posting as much. And I won’t be able to visit your blogs as much as I wish I could. It’s a busy time for me right now and to be honest this year has been so exhausting I find myself verging on burning out. As much as I love blogging, I’m not going to force myself to blog more often when I don’t have the energy for it.

I also feel like it’s time for me to try new content both for this blog and my YouTube channel which I have lowkey abandoned recently lol. I want to share more restaurant reviews and lifestyle videos on there. I’ve noticed people seem to enjoy those and I also enjoy making them a lot.

Plus, I have a lot going on in my personal life for the next two months so I’ll have much less time for blogging. Sometimes life just comes first.

Anyway, I wanted to give you guys that heads up so you don’t think I’ve randomly disappeared or anything. Thanks for understanding and sticking with me (I’m assuming you will…)

Let me know what your plans are for the next two months and what you’ll be up to.

I recently published my first book and would be honoured if you took a minute to check it out here.

  1. Your “real” life has to come first, Pooja, blogging is an avocation. I hope that you get things sorted out and feel great! 😊❤️

    1. Yeah, I need to put real life first and also don’t want to end up burnt out. Thanks so much! ❤️

      1. You’re welcome my lovely friend. 😊😊😊

  2. Taking care of yourself comes first my friend. ❤️

    1. Thank you so much ❤️

  3. Take very good care of you. ❤️

    1. Thanks so much ❤️

  4. Same here. 🙂

    1. Take care of yourself and take breaks when need be 🙂

      1. Yeah

Not posting more than one or two post.
Will stay away from the phone.

In general it’s good to remain calm, stable and patient.

        1. True and breaks from screens helps a lot.

  5. Important to stay tuned with your artistic inclinations, Pooja! I would love to be blogging more, but haven’t been able to do better than about once a week checking in, lately, so I definitely understand that life does what it will with us at times!

Besides, I’m a subscriber to your YouTube and would love to see you there too! hah

    1. Yeah, sometimes things just get busy and we have no other choice but to step back. Thank you so much, I’m excited to share more on there!

  6. I appreciate knowing what’s generally going to be going on with you. I look forward to hearing from you as can happen. And I hope that away from the blog, good things are happening for you.

    1. Thank you so much and yes they are, I think these next two months will be good.

  7. Glad you are putting yourself first. I have a mate in Connecticut who retired from programming and does a lot of paranormal online content now. Lookup Crystal Pavis or barefoot paranormal. She’s very versed in YouTube

    1. Thanks and I definitely will. That’s cool that she did that.

  8. Success to you

  9. Good for you for respecting your energy! Hope your busy months hold a good amount of fun!

    1. Thank you so much!

  10. Change is inevitable, Pooja – particularly for a creative such as you.. Good luck with all the changes! Fun times ahead.

    1. I totally agree and thank you so much!

  11. For the next two months?! “Let me know what your plans are for the next two months and what you’ll be up to.”

Child, I’m trying to get through each day as it comes, and if my plans set for each day are fulfilled, then I’ll be happy. 😂🤣😆

    1. Lol that works too, take it a day at a time!

  12. No need to explain being MIA. I haven’t posted anything in ages, because there’s no time to write blog posts and I’m not a fan of my laptop. Screen is too small for me and I prefer using a desktop computer.

Breaking a routine might feel a bit awkward or uncomfortable at first (or brains love having a routine) but it’s okay to take breaks from blogging/writing. We’ll be here when you get back or decide to blog again.

    1. I totally understand, life gets busy and we have to take a step back from blogging sometimes. Thanks so much!

  13. I can relate! I’ve been blogging a lot less this year and focusing my time on my YouTube channel. Putting yourself first is important!

    1. Ooh I see, how is it going with YouTube?

      1. Great learning experience! Learning a lot about how YouTube promotes its videos. Also learning about video creation and animation. Wishing you great success with your projects!

        1. That’s awesome and wishing you the same!

  14. I feel the same way. It’s hard. Life has changed and we have to change along the way too. We try hard to create the best content and what feels good for us and audience. It’s the creative struggle.

  15. I literally have to recreate myself every 4-5 years it’s tough. The feeling and content is important.

I finally had a run of form the last couple years and found a way out of my writers block, content block, wanting to change things on my website, how to find back that feeling and push. So I had to take things offline to remember “life” again and find a way to breathe life how I am feeling now.

Hopefully some of the word resides or helps.

I love your journey and works so I definitely enjoy your posts even if not frequent as you want, but you deliver a clear communication and value that is just beautiful.

    1. I totally get that feeling and thank you so much. Really appreciate it.

As for myself, I’m planning on taking a 3-4 week break in January. I feel like my words well is running dry and a break should help recharge it. I hope we can both avoid burn out. Cheers!

    1. Yup, life definitely gets busier sometimes.

That totally makes sense, it’s best to take time off when needed.

  23. Your life comes first, Pooja. I can relate and thinking of taking a short hiatus to regroup. 💕

    1. Thank you so much and definitely take some time if needed 💕

    1. Thank you so much!

  29. I would absolutely love to see more content from you on YouTube! So that’s exciting! But of course, your life and YOU ultimately always is first. That break should help you feel more replenished and refreshed too. Your light and beauty will shine just as much offline as it does online. I’m all for the continued evolution of everything happening here! 👍🏻💪🏻💕

    1. Thank you so much, I’m excited to share more on there!

  30. Life has been busy for me. I’m trying to figure out what I want to do with my blog, which I abandoned for the past month lol. I’m still reading everyone else’s blogs. But I don’t comment as much as I do.

I’m just trying to take it one day at a time. That alone works for me.

    1. That’s totally fair, life does get very busy sometimes. One day at a time is honestly best in those moments.

  31. Take the time you need Pooja and happy holidays!

    1. Thank you so much!

  32. Life outside of blogging comes first, Pooja. I’m going to slow down on posting and blogging too because of the holidays coming up and new book projects to work on. We have to find a balance somehow. Take good care. ❤️

    1. Absolutely, thank you so much for understanding. That sounds super exciting, I’m sure you’ll come up with something incredible. ❤️

  33. Thank you for all that you share. It has been said that a change is as good as rest. Enjoy your rest. I have not posted on YouTube in a while either, so I feel like I need to get back to that as well. It hard to believe that we are now entering the Xmas season soon. I am sure it was July just a few days ago, lol.

    1. Thank you so much. I know, this year has been crazy I feel like it just started.

      1. It did just start. I thought you just celebrated the Diwali New Year, lol.

        1. It’s already been over a month I think (and I’m already feeling done with the year lol).

  34. I got kicked off YouTube recently, have no idea why (lol), but would love to see your videos (I will get back on) … Plus, your reviews are really stunning and detailed! I truly wish we could just blog, but life is pesky and persistent 😉 (haha) … Wishing you stealth for the business and wealth for your efforts, and as always good health to surround you and yours, forever!

    1. Omg how did you get kicked off, that’s crazy. Aw thank you so much and wishing you the same! 😊
