I have something most exciting to share with all of you today. One of my greatest dreams in life has come true (not the one where I’m suddenly falling and can’t stop). My second book and first novel is finally ready to share with the world. Isn’t that so exciting???
Although, I can’t give you all the details just yet, I wanted to share the title and cover with you all today. It’s called Perfect and is of course a psychological thriller. I’m sure the latter half of my sentence comes as no surprise because I love thrillers so much. Reading them, watching them, writing them, re-enacting them…
And this the front and back cover for the book.

Blurb:
Here’s the blurb for Perfect, in case you’re unable to properly read it on the image.
A mother protecting her son. A boy spiraling into darkness. A girl who never stood a chance.
Sally thinks she’s succeeded in breaking generational curses until she finds out her eldest son, James, is the prime suspect in Lily Johnson’s murder. After years of bliss, she’s forced to revisit dark family secrets she believed she had left behind. Even more unsettling is that the deeper she digs, the more she realizes that she may not know James as well as she thought.
James is certainly not the perfect son his mother believes he is. In fact, he has always felt painfully different from everyone around him- until he meets Lily Johnson. Initially, their relationship seems flawless, but soon the cracks begin to show, leaving James questioning everything- including his own sanity and just how far he’ll go to protect the girl he loves.
After her father’s death, Lily’s mother marries Paul- a man Lily despises. And if that wasn’t devastating enough, Paul moves their family to the small town he grew up in. They thought Lily would be safer there, but little did they know that the small town holds secrets none of them could have ever imagined. Secrets some would kill to protect. And Lily finds herself in the middle of it all.
Final Thoughts
I’ve wanted to publish a novel, this novel, for years now. The story kept clanking away in my head. And finally when I sat down to write it, the words came so easily. Like they’d been waiting all this time. Still, it took about 2 years to write and put together. And I’m so proud of myself for it. I’m also beyond grateful to everyone that helped me put the book together. (I’ll share a more specific thank you post later in the week or next week). I couldn’t have done it alone.
It’s just so exciting to finally be able to share this with all of you!
I recently published my first book, if you would like to read it, please click here.
