Carl Bard Quote

Quote Of The Day

Carl Bard Quote:

Carl Bard Quote

What’s Up With Pooj?

It’s been an interesting week with some major highs and lows. Thankfully, the highs were much more frequent than the lows and I have lots to be grateful for.

I want to start out by thanking Alex from A Certain Point Of View, Too. He has been so incredibly encouraging and helpful not only with my upcoming novel, Perfect, but with everything in general. He’s a really great writer himself and I’ve actually reviewed his writing on this blog before. You can read them here. I tend to look up to him since he has a lot more experience with writing than I do so I truly appreciate the support. He shared this wonderful post the other day:

As those of you that have followed me for a while now know, 2025 was a particularly difficult year for me. Like to the extent that I didn’t know if I would get to 2026. But I’m thankful I made it and a large part of that has been because of all the support and encouragement from this community. So truly, thank you. You have no idea how much one kind word can mean to someone that is struggling.

  2. Yeah, thinking about how we would change the past is a nasty trap to fall into. Looking towards the future is the only thing we can change.

    1. Totally agree, we literally can’t change the past so fixating on it brings nothing good into our life.

  16. Hi Pooja, how have you been? The quote seems perfect for me as I try again to be regular at WordPress blogging. I feel like there’s a lot of catching up to do with my WP friends. Many congratulations for all your past works and all the best for your upcoming novel. You go girl!!!

    1. Hey, it’s been quite a while so nice to see you back here! I’m glad you’re blogging again and excited to read your posts. Thank you so much!

  17. It must be so exciting to have your new novel out. All the best dear friend.

    1. It’s the best feeling. Thanks so much 💖

      1. You’re most welcome

  18. It’s a hopeful quotation. I mean, we can’t really start over start over. But we can try anew. Even better than reinventing is the earnest aim to realize that we need a new aim for our own development and satisfaction. Well-chosen citation. I hope your week is going pleasurably.

    1. Yeah, I think we can at least make some changes and try to change ourselves and our path. Thank you and have a lovely week too.

  19. I like the quote. I have been busy digging a sump hole to prevent flooding from spring runoff. The test was successful, now to see how it works next week when it warms up. Next on my to-do list is to pre-order your new novel. Have a great week.

    1. Hopefully, it’ll be successful. Thank you so much, I’m excited for you to read the novel. Have a great week too.

  20. I like the quote; it’s a good reframe for when things aren’t great.

I’m sorry to know 2025 was so bad for you, and hopefully 2026 is bringing more joy and contentment. This week I’m enjoying a song I heard this weekend and blogged about today, Simply Red covering Bob Dylan’s “Positively 4th Street.”

    1. Yeah, I think it helps to know we can make changes no matter what.
Thank you, so far 2026 has been much better. I love Positively 4th Street but haven’t heard that version. I’ve only ever heard Dylan’s.

      1. I’m very glad to know 2026 is going well. You certainly have sounded upbeat in your YouTube videos!

I really like Mick Hucknall’s singing; he has such a great style that works on so many kinds of songs.

        1. Yeah, I feel much more upbeat too!
I’ll have to check out that version, it sounds like it would be great.

Great quote. Glad you made it to 2026.

    1. Thank you so much.

  22. Glad you are here, things can only get better! I love Coldplay by the way.💜

    1. I totally agree, the best is yet to come! Coldplay is so good 😊

  23. I love the quote so much! Glad things are getting better- it’s true that the crap will always be there, but we all deserve better turns.

    1. Glad you liked the quote and I so agree- we just have to stay hopeful and focus on the good!

  24. Every day is a day to begin again. I like this quote, Pooja.

    1. Totally agree and glad you liked the quote.

  25. Excellent advice in that quote

    1. I thought so too.

  26. Pooja! I am excited to read your novel! I cant wait to preorder my copy!

    1. Thank you, so excited for you to read it too!

  27. Hi, Pooj!

Thank you for the kind mention! I’m glad I’ve been able to give you some writerly advice over the past few years. Good luck with “Perfect”!

    1. Thank you so much, I really appreciate all the support!

      1. You’re quite welcome!

  28. I feel like sometimes we think it’s all done and we can’t rise again after facing a major downfall. It’s in these moments that we get to find our strengths. 2025 was such a horrible year for me too, my mental health went worse, I lost everything and everyone, took me over 8 good months to start feeling something again. Still healing but I didn’t think I’d get to this point.

I love Chainsmokers too, their music just makes me feel something ethereal..

    1. That’s so true. In those awful moments we feel like giving up but life finds a way to help us keep going. I’m so sorry you went through that, I can imagine how incredibly difficult that must have been. I hope you’re doing better now. And I can assure you those awful moments don’t last forever. You’ll be able to move on and heal when you’re ready.

      1. Thanks, I’m doing great, and you’re right it’s always like an out-of-control process,

      2. I mean like God or the universe intervenes and we start overcoming something we thought was impossible . Yes, and I’ll write about that too… When we’re ready everything falls into place

  29. This is a beautiful quote and reminder that we can always start from where we are. ❤️

    1. Yes, exactly. We can always make changes and try to improve ourselves and our life. Thank you for the comment 😊
